link can confirm West Brom are interested in signing Chris Kirkland from Liverpool. Reports have suggested that West Brom are hoping to sign the former England Under-21 international on a season-long loan next season.

Kirkland, who endured an injury-ravaged season with Liverpool last term, is considering his options as he seeks to be playing regularly with the World Cup on the horizon. The 24-year-old's first team opportunities at Liverpool could be further limited next season with Spanish goalkeeper Jose Reina widely expected to arrive from Villarreal.

i think hes going to find it difficult to be number 1 at Liverpool. With Reina coming in hes going to become 3rd choice and they have Carson aswell..

Knowing Kirkland, he will prob be injured for most of the season and if its a loan deal, he might get match practise and fit again. And then he can go back to anfield next summer and be fit.

It would be nice if this happens
