Barcelona de Ecuador have confirmed that they would like to take back Ivan Kaviedes from Crystal Palace.
Kaviedes has not had the expected impact at Selhurt Park, and may be allowed to negotiate his exit from The Eagles.
Barcelona already have players with Premiership experience in former Middlesbrough man Hamilton Ricard and Agustin Delgado, formerly of Southampton,
and they would like to add Kaviedes to that group.
"Kaviedes is under contract until 2005, but if he reaches a financial agreement with his team, he could maybe come and play for Barcelona," said club
president Leonardo Bohrer.
"Our coach wants to build a strong team and wants to have Kaviedes, Edison Mendez, Agustin Delgado and Hamilton Ricard."
Kaviedes has made just one start since arriving at Palace for 2 million in the summer, coming off the bench a further five times.
