If you had 1 Million Dollars...

what would you do ?

Just curious as to how our BTS - ATS members would spend thier new found money. Remember it's tax free and in your bank as of right now.

Let's see who can be the most creative.

Good Luck.

First, I don't want it in the bank.
Second, I would build a nice little house in the country, with a library at least taking up half the house. I'd fill it with books, videos, etc.
Then, I'd find a way to put the money to good use.
Go on a vacation here or there, too.
Ya know.

I would probably buy an old decomissioned missle silo, fix it up with an above ground house as well as belowground facilities.

Either that or just purchase something like 1000 acres of remote land and setup a completely self sufficient home. Not overly detailed I know, but it would take forever and a day to list all the systems and things needed to be completlely self sufficient

Not the most creative thing in the world, but

1. 100,000 of it would go into a high interest CD account.

2. About 50,000 would go into the stock market, into good paying long term stocks...

3. Another 50,000 would go into gold futures...

4. I'd then buy a modest, but nice home, and fix it up the way we want it...(and make a few fun things, like secret passages, etc.)

5. I'd buy a second car, nice luxury car, but nothing way out there...

6. New wardrobe for me and the fiance'

7. I'd start a business (likely a gaming/book store)

8. The rest in the bank.

I'd eventually use the interest/stocks, etc. to live off, even if the business doesn't do that well, and also invest in some real estate....

id give it to charity....lol not....id buy a beer brewrey for sure...build a home...stick a corvette zo6 engine into my 78 monte....

I think I might donate mine to O.J. Simpson, I hear he needs more money to help find the real Killer..:shk::shk:

I would split 200,000 among my family and friends, equally.

I would move to canada, find a nice area, not far from the city, but close enough. I'd buy a decent house there and pay off my property taxes for like 10 years. I'd leave the house in my family's name.

It's obvious what each and everyone of us should do with our Million...

why donate it when you can buy it from simon and do what you want with ATS then

I'd go to the casino and bet it all in one shot.

No seriously, I'm not sure. I would probably invest most of it to make some more millions.

One of my first priority tho would be to rebuild the old '59 ford pickup that's sleeping behind the house, and make a monstruously-tuned monster out of it.

If i had a Million Dollars, i'd invest part of it into Real Estate and live off the rest temporarily while making more money. Then when i had 10 mill or so, i'd build myself a Pyramid House in Egypt and hire lots of Man Servants wearing little more than loin clothes ... ahhh bliss 'grin'
