To me, it is becoming more and more evident everyday of what is happening in America. It is no conspiracy that our rights and liberties are being stripped from us in the name of the defense from terrorism.

My question is this: when will the American citizens wake up? A new revolution must begin if we are to become a nation that our forefathers intended. My only hope is that it isn't to late when this finally becomes realized.

People this isn't something that's going to happen 50 years from now. It is happening now, underneath our very noses, and the greatest disaster of all is the average American is not aware of it. We are becoming an empire, change needs to happen.

It looks very bad for your concerns, Mr M. 1) We have a volunteer armed forces. Will they “follow orders” and be loyal to the men who sign their paychecks? 2) Our Armed Forces are being trained every day in urban warfare in Baghdad and Afghan. How easy to shift them to Cleveland or Salt Lake city or Greensboro? 3) DEA. Over the years the DEA - Narco Cops - have developed an extensive network of informants. Chances are any group you visit will have one or more police informants sitting right there. 4) Warrantless wire taps and general monitoring of the internet and cell phones. After Tora Bora, OBL quit using cell phones and satellite phones. He now communicates by hand written notes carried by trusted messengers. 5) Read Ray Bradford’s “Fahrenheit 451" and Orwell’s 2 books, “1984" and “Animal Farm.” 6) To survive, guerillas must have support, protection and cover offered by a sizeable and sympathetic civilian population. Where is your cover?

“Enemy Combatant” can be secretly arrested and held incommunicado for indefinite periods, perhaps until the “national emergency” is declared to be over. You can thank Red State voters for this state of affairs. They gave us Bush43, VP Cheney and AG Alberto Gonzales, the desperate trio. Bush43 and Gonzales had 154 men killed in Texas before he became president, so they are numbed by the death of others. Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply. I believe every American owes it to themselves and their fellow Americans to become educated on what is going on, and that doesn't mean being brainwashed by mainstream media.
