Looks like a Big Black Delta to me, but i'm not sure wether those things are man made or alien ??

I found the actual picture on a NASA website:

science.ksc.nasa.gov... pg

According to NASA it is a piece of thermal insulation tile floats near the Shuttle Columbia.

The NASA photo serial it is not from a secret mission in 2002, rather it was taken on the STS 61 C mission in 1993, the photo is the second photo on film 31 of that mission.

NASA has a spesial syntax, first is a code for the mission 61C (the Apollo 11 pictures had serial AP11), the second number is the film number, and the last number is the photo number on that film.
