Im asking if there is a way that I can flag threads quickly for reading later on? Especially when browsing new posts with only a few minutes to spare, but seeing multiple thread titles that look interesting but no time to check them all out.

It's probably simple and I'm missing it, but if there is no such way, I think it would be a nice addition. A simple icon in the thread bar that would register the thread in some sort of collection page. Like a 'to get to' page.

You can subscribe to any thread without making a reply.

You can then go to myATS to view the thread at your leisure.

Thank anxietydisorder!

It was simple and I overlooked it.

Much appreciated.

I subscribe to a lot of threads when I want to see the replies, even if I don't feel like making one. It's really handy.

But if you want to keep a thread for a long time, bookmark it, or else - as you've probably noticed - threads get pushed off the bottom of the list the more you add. You can generally subscribe to about 50 threads.

So what's up with the OTHER flagging?

You know, the one where it says stuff like

This thread tagged with: more nuts

or something like that? Do mods set those?

That's tagging. At the bottom of each page is a form for tagging threads with appropriate tags. The members can add tags as long as they're appropriate.

Read about it here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...
and here:
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Points are no longer given, however because of abuse of the system.

You can use tags to flag a thread if you want. Just add the appropriate tag at the bottom of the thread and use this link to search for the tag at a future date.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Chances are you'll also find other threads on the same topic when you do a tag search.
