I used to work for a pharmacutical company delivering methadone and other pharmacuticals around the UK, they had to start supplying sugar free versions after a while due to all of the junkies suffering from rotting teeth

I saw a interview not too long ago with Dr. Drew, the "Loveline" guy, where he linked pot smokers to meth use because they need something to bring them "up" from the effects of pot.

He seemed kind of uncomfortable saying it, maybe because he didn't like the way it feels to lie through his teeth, but it is pretty obvious there is a big campaign on to demonize pot use, and connect it to all the other evils of the world; meth use, the WOT, other aberrant behaviors. It doesn't surprise me at all that it would then be turned into an advertisement for anything the industry is selling, from recovery services to dental programs.

Of course, what's really behind the Rx industry, and S&B, and the CIA, imo, is Opium/Heroin.

This may seem funny, but this is a horrible problem and not just amongst teenagers...

Police officers, Laywers, Teachers, Ambulance Drivers ... You name it... it doesn't have a 'group' of users.... people seem to be getting hooked on it everywhere you turn...
Its nauseating to see how it affects communities, kills people, increases theft and vandalism as well as violence.
The honest to gods truth is that marijuana has none of these characteristics, if anything the opposite. Meth is a serious problem. I think if these people had something constructive to do with their time, (socially) it would benefit the whole, and seeming as we need all the help creating peace in the world it would be a good start to open a 'peace center' in every community.

Among the most horrible drugs ever meth tops the chart above alcohol.

Excuse me but, I do believe I take serious issue with your stance. You have obviously never been associated in any way, other than what you read as doctor/agency claims, with the scenario of Meth Amphetimines. You are quite one-sided, having only the information of what you rant about as basis.

Perhaps I can inform you a bit.

I am a recovering drug addict, 4 years of my usage was daily meth use, now 8 years clean. What you read is real. I know - I lived it. My teeth and gums deteriorated at an exponetial rate. I had to have them all (that did not rot out) pulled, as the pain was intolerable (as for relation to "intolerable": I've been soldier, life-long construction worker, Biker, bar brawler, etc, etc .... I'm sure you can surmise from that a threshold for pain I would have).

Maybe next time, before a rant about something you have obviously read only one bit about, a look into the other side would be justified?

Perhaps if this poster were an addict or recovering, would that change their opinion? Maybe.

I am an alcoholic, but that doesn't change my stance that the government plays any and all situations pro and con to provide maximum power for their control. Why does the government allow alcohol sales, which is highly addictive, but yet exclude other things? The individual is always the first to blame for their situation, and I don't mean blaming others, but taking account of your own actions. But when a government entity confuses the matter to take control of the situation and fight the battle and become an enabler at the same time, then they truly have no agenda to help anyone other than themselves and perpetuate their agenda.

Perhaps the poster has not gained the experience you have and maybe they have, but the point of view is still a valid side of the whole story on drugs, that there is an inner working that perpetuates and also provides a solution to a problem. This is an ongoing theme it seems in how the government MO works today.

You are failing to see the other side however. That being, the claim that Meth useage causes great dental and dental structural harm, is real.

The original rant is against the people claiming that there is a problem, when the problem is valid. If the problem is valid, the rant is irrelevant.

The stance of my rebuttal is that the defendant side of the rant (the companies making claims) was not delved into, before a claim of wrong doing was made against them.

With this, you are correct. I usually read more into someones thread than what they are actually saying, because everyone does not especially back up their claims and whatnot, nevertheless they try to provide a view of "how it is", without substantiating it.

I see your side and I see the posters side and I agree that their should be more to this than complaining of dentists jumping onto a band wagon for meth mouth, but this is still just a rant. With this, I suppose it isn't a requirement to post a rant and actually back up your claims, otherwise they would post in one of ATS' conspiracy forums with info to validate what they are saying.

#9 then drug companies to provide METHADONE for them
#10 to the dentists who are loosing business due to modern technology

and if ANYONE in this chain REFUSES to play along
then they goto the courts that the family politicians OWN (kangaroo courts)
or label them as funding terrorists,or MAJOR drug dealers,

after all it is the politicians who decide who the police cheifs are,,, and

Drugs Are Really ExpensiveDARE. If you really think about it, that is what it should stand for. If people could just do the drugs and get them and not have to worry about spending all their money on them etc...I think quite a few of them would probably go to work and be better people.

I don't think it's a conspiracy so the dentist can make more money. I think the main reason THEY don't want to legalize drugs and also make it look like you are a piece of crap if you use drugs, is because it starts to open your 3rd eye etc and if we see the truth, then the faster we will not be their puppets of fear.

I know there is a very thin line here but we are suppose to be free and this issue could go on and on and on and on about safety at work, driving, whatever. But it is suppose to be a free country. You can get addicted to caffeine, anti depressants, but not to anything that gives you a buzz, cuzz then you might be happy and not a good little robot that does everything they are suppose to do, because if you don't you will get put in jail and not have a place to live etc...

It's sickening, the corruption, the lies, but the truth is always there waiting to break free of the lies. Age of Aquarius is here and it is going to change for the better.
