In Scotland a former police officer has pleaded guilty to trying to saw his ex-wife's head off.
John Kelly rammed his wife's car after she had divorced him after having an affair with her gym instructor. Then he jumped inside her car and began sawing at her throat with a 12-inch saw.
Kelly will be sentenced at a later date.

A former Scottish police officer has pleaded guilty to trying to saw his ex-wife's head off after he rammed into her car in revenge for leaving him.

John Kelly, 45, pleaded guilty to attempted murder at his trial in Dumfries, but said he had no recollection of the events of Sept. 29, The Times of London reported.

Prosecutors said Kelly, former Dumfries police sergeant, was furious his wife of 20 years had divorced him after having an affair with her gym instructor. They said that on that day he rammed her car head-on, and then jumped inside and began sawing at her throat with a 12-inch saw.

This is insane.
What his wife did was wrong but this guy is clearly deranged. I hate to think of what he did as a cop. Maybe he abused her and that is why she had an affair. I bet she was too afraid to leave him because he was a cop.
