Incredible creature encounter last night w/ audio clip! It might have been killed by helicopter!

Sorry for such a huge post but this is an incredible event! I've been hearing some unusual noises off and on at night for the past several weeks (strange howls, screams, etc). Some people in my neighborhood have heard them too. There is a research lab in my area, and also local legends of a "werewolf" type of creature supposedly seen by a few people. But I've always been a skeptic, until I saw a creature last night that was unlike anything I've seen before!

It started at about 9:00 when I came home from shopping. I was unpacking the car when I heard the same howling/screaming in the distance. It only lasted a few minutes, so I went inside my house without another thought. Then at about 10:30, I saw flashing lights outside so went to check it out. I found out someone down the street heard something on their roof and called the police. They found loose tile and their back fence was bent a little. The cops left and I returned home.

At approx. 11:45, all hell broke loose! I was getting ready for bed when I heard a loud commotion. It seemed like every dog in the area was going crazy. I opened a window and heard the same strange howling again in the distance. Then a plain white Jeep Cherokee type of SUV with blacked out windows pulled up outside. I know because it stopped near a street lamp and I could see it plain as day. It had no visible strobe lights or agency markings, so I thought maybe it was just a civilian vehicle until a guy wearing a black uniform got out, carrying a rifle. So I thought let me see what is going on now. I grabbed my little recorder and headed outside. You can hear the result yourself by listening to the file below.

Here is a narration: I went outside and the dogs were still going crazy. You can hear me walking down my driveway, then you'll hear the noise of a vehicle. It was another white SUV. You hear my footsteps again as I headed for my backyard.

Almost at the same time, my neighbor's dog started going crazy. I went up to my rear fence and then I saw the creature! I am 6'1" and it was a little taller than me. It looked a grayish color under the moonlight and it was standing up like a man. It started growling at me and I honestly thought I was going to have a heart attack. My pulse raced up and I could feel my heart pounding, but I couldn't move. I was paralyzed with fright. This thing was about 10 feet or less from me! Then you hear a scream...no it wasn't me, it was my neighbor's daughter who apparently had gone outside to see why her dog was barking. She saw the creature and screamed. As soon as she screamed, the creature/beast/whatever you want to call it, took off in a sprint into the woods. It knocked over a tree as you can hear.

I finally came to my senses and started walking back toward my house. Then you can hear a helicopter approaching and I stopped again. I couldn't see what the helicopter looked light, only that it was dark colored and shining a spotlight into the woods. A police car pulled up on the opposite street. Then I almost crapped my pants because someone from the helicopter started shooting a machine gun. Then you can hear the creature howl in the distance. Next, I start to run back into my house as one of the guys on foot (either someone from one of the white SUV's or the police officer) starting shooting.

And that is the end of the clip. I called the police this morning to ask what happened, and was told that an officer "had to put down a pit bull" that got out of control. You can listen to the audio and read the info. above, and know that it was certainly NOT a pit bull! And this morning there was a team of people investigating the area (see cell phone pic of roped off area).



That's all I have for now I am going to call the local media to see if they're interested my audio.

What PitBull? This howling was freaky... OMG I've heard and seen wolfs diferent times in my life but that howling was so loud and deep that gave me gooseboomps...

what's with all the dogs? i also hear what sounds like a small tree falling.

The entire audio session sounds faked. Everythinng heard could have been easily sound formatted. The picture, and the sound from the tree getting knocked over do not go hand in hand. From the picture it looks like a small tree, or even just some brush. In the audio, it sounds like a fully grown maple getting ripped out of the ground. I also didn't hear anything else from the movement of the creature/beast. From what I can tell by your picture, the woods you live near are of heavy content. If it was 10 feet tall, and was sprinting, there would have been loud footsteps coming from the woods, and more trees getting knocked over, and other natural noises you hear when there is movement in the woods.

are you sure it was not an elephant? that tree sounds suspicious or is it something from Call of Duty series?

that was pretty wierd but i dont belive that was a fake but idk and i didnt see wut happend that day

Are you serious? Hopefully a Mod will ban this fool soon because this is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. Most of those sounds come from video games, do you think we are a bunch idiots or something?

I agree this audio sounds positively FAKE. Also anyone can go buy CAUTION Tape
and wrap it around some trees to take pics.

Although I am surprised that with software like Reason and Cubase that you don't get more of these posted!
I made a great digital audio fake of a night of passion (well actually 15 minutes....) with myself and an alien called "Giveittome" from the planet Zargon, but ruined it by putting in a 70's porn soundtrack.

Please u2u me the phone number of the police station you contacted. I'll need the date and time of the "incident" as well. If this checks out your post and your membership will stay. I would also add that you have captured an incredible event on audio and we will do what we can to get the word out.

Honestly, it does sound "too good". That is the most efficient law enforcement. security contractor helicopter in the galaxy. They appeared armed and firing on the scene with in seconds of the "beast" running into the woods.

You've got Jurassic Park in your backyard.

I think the military is genetically engineering creatures for various purposes and letting them free and that is part of the reason we are seeing such freaks out there.

They may also be opening portals due to their experiments with time travel and thus letting in weird creatures into our realm and the military also knows about this and tracks them down.

They could also be alien creatures that are let loose or get away from the greys etc??

in my words i hope the "creature" comes back an rips ur head off with his finger.you should have brought a video camera or a guns. can cap that sucker....or at least a camera.

an caution tape is fake to. the tree in the clip was huge. i could kick that tree over with my foot.

an if you wanted to be bad you could steal a roll of tape from a contruction yard,they leave that stuff everywhere. PLUS if it was police shooting at it they would have put crime scene tape around the area,which is slightly harder to come across prooving the fake even more.

THEN- if you wanted to fake a pic that bad you could have crudely knocked down a tree in the wood

Aww...why couldn't you put the creature from Lost in there, it would have been more humorous. files.ten15.com...

You can tell this is fake. You don't hear a helicopter coming you hear a helicopter just show up as it materialized right above your head. You don't hear sirens like its police coming to you, you hear sirens going right beside you like the cops just turned them on to let you know they were there then turned them off. Same goes with the tree and pretty much every other sounds you put in this clip. This is a pretty horrible hoax

Sounds like I walked into a ASPCA kennel. Helicopters? It didn't sound real at all.

It sounds to me like the whole ordeal was put together in a big clump of mess. I also have a feeling that it was an attemp to discredit or make fun of my thead I had posted a couple weeks back about the eerie animal noise I had recorded in my backyard.
If either of the above statements are true, I feel bad for you. But if in fact this is a true occurance, then it's pretty darn amazing.
