Freshman dies after jump from Bobst balcony

I remember while at UT Austin, they had a policy to close the infamous Clock Tower specifically during all midterms and finals for the exact same reason....


A male NYU freshman jumped to his death Friday afternoon from an upper floor inside Bobst Library in an apparent suicide.

The student jumped at about 2:50 p.m., police said, and was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The death comes exactly four weeks after a College of Arts and Science junior died after jumping from the 10th floor. The freshman also jumped from the 10th floor, witnesses said.
