NWO? Why Not?

Greetings Fellow Believers,

Is there the possibility of a New World Order developing in our lifetime? I grudgingly have to say: "yes". However, if it is occuring...let it happen. It won't last long.

I've been exploring the facets of evolution: physiological; social; technological. The great stumbling block that has stymied Homo Sapiens from sustained social development has been ego, greed, and religion. If you use Adam Smith's Economic model of "The Invisible Hand"--one could believe that a handful of ego-driven, greedy, religious zealots will undoubtably attempt to help the rest of us "rise" with them.

Baloney.

Our species is currently too fractured socially for a New World Order to succeed for any length of time. As individuals, we are too socially retarded to even support a New World Order...because we are also ego-driven and greedy (myself included on both counts).

Human beings can only stare down the barrel of a gun for so long before they decide they've had enough and slit the throat of the gun-bearer.

To agree, yes it probably won't last long. The persons involved are too egocentric and power hungry to cooperate for any length of time. Imagine a coalition government comprised of Hitler, Stalin and Cheney. The problem is how much damage they can cause in even a short period of time-probably a whole lot.
To disagree, you said "Our species is currently too fractured socially for a New World Order to succeed for any length of time". But that is what they are using to gain control. In order for a totalitarian state to exist, they must have a scared populace and an enemy to focus that fear/hatred upon.
This is also a tenet of the NWO, just because it desires to control the world, doesn't mean the whole world will be welcome to participate. Witness Hitlers "Europa". Not everyone in Europe was welcome. From recent events, I would surmise that Islam is chosen as that enemy.

Passenger has made a valid point that it seemed I was speaking out of both corners of my mouth.

The New World Order, if it is expected to rise somewhere in the near future, would be spearheaded by modern day Maos or Stalins. I also suspect, as Passenger pointed out...that these select few of insane zealots hope to hold the rest of us in a solid grip of fear.

Machiavelli said that enemies must exist...even if they are fabricated (apologies to Machiavelli for my liberal use of an idea in several of his works). The existence of any illusionary border between townships, counties, states and nations--show a boundary between languages, social mores, economic beliefs, and political affiliations. Each of these facets that loosely define the "us" and "them" throughout the world can be used as weapons in the hands of a few to keep the rest of Humanity under their control.

However, Passenger--I remain a blind-idealist. I would hope that the freedom of information through the Internet would hamper any attempt of the NWO to get a foothold.

Should I tread lightly on this subject because of CARNIVORE and PREDATOR monitoring all data on the 'net? Better still...maybe neither exist at all and are just psychological tools in the 'guise of words to intimidate us?

They do exist. I don't know actually how powerful they are though, so I'll be careful here. I lived in the D.C. area for awhile, and of course you make friends. This person worked on the early proto-type versions, although they were called something different then. It sounds paranoid, I know, but I wouldn't wish to post the names----just in case. Suffice to say they probably have something better by now anyway.

Just another small way to help "them" is to worry about monitoring. These globalists are now engaging in pathetic little PR exercises through AOL and other sell-out ILEC's - as if to imply that the internet is backdoored and spying on you.

Do these globalist tweezacks think that some of us here do not know something or another about the local ILEC/Telco and of the Alcatel, Nortel, Lucent and frame facilities? Their gay boxes can be torn out of any colocate - if by an accident...oops sorry about that?

That's a great attitude markus and I applaud you for it. Fight the good fight if you can as long as you can! However, I am not that savvy with technology and I'm sure a lot of others aren't as well. So what can we do?

This brings up a interesting postulate.

In order for any NWO to work. What must it do?

One, They would have too Have power.

Two, They would need the favorable support of the masses.

Three, There has to be a quasi-Religious aspect of it. To Soothe\Hoodwink the masses

The Catholics in the middle ages would be a good exp of the postulate.

The Had the temporal Sword, And all that were opposed were killed. They had the allegiance of the masses. And they promised Heaven for Believers, And hell\Hell on Earth to non Believers.

It had at its lead. A person who was claimed perfect. (Immaculate) A model for the Anti-Christ. He had the Heavens changed by His own words.

1)He forgave or Condemned Man For eternity. He declared Certain of his followers as "saints". While condemning "others" to eternal Hell.

2)He had the power to dispose kings and princes. And any mere mention of "excommunication". Could mean that a King would "lose" his throne.

3)He Had under his lead, A Army. Not beholden to any others, Except himself. And Should He call upon his Army. (Whether it be a vendetta or Universal Crusade.) It would Crush his Enemies. (Whether it be a King or a population of people.)

In Order For a Current NWO to Happen. It Would need to have "true" Global power, have Global appeal, And be the Global Religion of the masses.

And nothing as of Now, Nothing Fits any of these Criteria.

The US has Power, Has no Global Appeal, And has no State Religion.

The UN has no power, But does have global appeal, And its Gaian Religion is a small minority.

The EU Has some power, Has some Global appeal, But has no State Religion.

China has power, Has no Global appeal, And its state religion is not religion.

Now if Aliens did come Down to Terra Firma. Then you would have a Power, Global Appeal, And a universal Religion. And I have always wondered why "satan" is pictured as a Dragon.

My thoughts exactly. That is, let them have it. They took the ball so let them run with it. Actually, at this point, the best thing to do is take the pressure off and let them run full force with their plans. It's the idea where you are holding someone back and they are trying really hard to go forward and then you let go and they fall on their face. Or you let go of the rubber band and it snaps back and hurts the other person. Play the cosmic game with them. Play on their field. Think globally. Think beyond. I think it would benefit to learn from what's going on instead of consciously fighting it. Remember, the only difference between any of us and the so called elite, is they got spoon fed knowledge that has been kept secret for a long time. The missing ingredient is knowledge. The NWO can be a great teacher. Walk softly but think with a big stick. Once you know the rules of the game then you can decide which team to play on. Otherwise, you aren't even on the field yet.

The unseen puppeteers expected to lead all of us into a New World Order might be further along than we might suspect.

Consider: in the United States alone--the Supreme Court, at the state and Federal levels, can whimsically interpret the U.S. Constitution.

Secondly: recent land siezures by the government using Imminent Domain to favor private developers to increase the tax base. Property rights no longer exist in the United States.

If you've ever read the "Left Behind" series--the authors put some serious thought into it. However, try and keep a secular view while reading it. I did. We need not fear gods above or devils below.

You're right about the "Left Behind" series. It was pretty good in it's portrayal of how events might pan out. My problem with it is that it's final answer is basically we have to wait for Christ to make things right.
My question still stands however: What can we do?
If someone has enough faith in God to make things right in the end, I do hope they are right. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of faith--either in God or man.

Again? Religion never bailed anyone out to begin with. Well, except for preachers that got bailed out from actually having to do any work. They can just read some allegorical manuscript written by hundreds of different people, across two thousand years, with dozens of revised editions, and dozens of denominations with their own interpretations. Kevlar? You have a better chance with religion. Kevlar won't protect you from an engineered virus. Nor from super-storms created from the rising oceans. Won't protect you from the Depleted Uranium that's now being spread across the planet on the trade winds. Won't protect you from a gravity nuke. Heck, it won't even protect you from a stray bullet that happens to hit your cranium. However, if you were kneeling in prayer maybe that bullet would have missed.
