I am trying to delete several files that I had previously uploaded. They are of substantial size, I want to re-use the space.

The error message I get is 'File not found'.

File names are:

(ats15597_Stamp_Image_HanoiJane_ _HanoiJohn.jpg) 23K
(ats28736_Tora Bora 2_tif.jpg) 47K, two copies of this.

This represents over 100K of upload space (some purchased) that I cannot use.

Can somebody please delete those files, or fix whatever is broken with the flinks and blinks?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, Grady had this same problem and to my knowledge it was never resolved. You have plenty of points though, just buy more space, that's what I do.

I just spent 500 points to buy 50K of space, and got the same error message. It wouldn't display correctly in an image display.

May I suggest you use the "Gripes/Idea button.
The buttons are located just below the large banner on top of the page.
The gripe button is the second from the left.

Should that not work, u can try a more direct approach, and u2u one of the mods or super mods for help.

Thanks - many a mod will testify that I know how to find the gripe button.

I think I've already done that, when the count was just one misbehaving file, but I'll try it again. Here's an idea: give the members the ability to review any gripes they have previously submitted.

I've had this problem myself. If points allow, I'd just buy more space.

In reply to your compliant, js, one of our council had this to say:

Last time I had the problem, it was a code problem that S.O. hasn't been able to track down yet.

That's probably the same reason now.
