President Bush is set to announce a new Chairman of the Federal Reserve today at 1pm eastern time. It has been speculated that Ben Bernanke, the current chairman of his Council of Economic Advisers will be named to this top spot

President Bush chooses an interesting time to replace Greenspan. While it was speculated that Greenspan would retire come January...this begins to look like we're going to try a new "horse" to get us out of the current economic "challenges".

Mr Greenspan is one of the steadfast symbols of our countries strength...
with him behind the wheel, no pothole was too big...

With him retired... we are in trouble. Mr greenspans shoes are too big to fill I fear...

he wasn't a man, but a demigod... He used a mysterious magic called math and statistics, to perform intricate spells that protected our nation from financial destruction...

even with him driving, we still hit some storms...

I do hope that the new guy can handle it. At this point, it looks scary... the replacement already has stated that he and Alan didn't agree regarding setting goals for inflation.
