As an American I have always considered Thanksgiving a wonderful holiday. It is the holiday that everyone can enjoy without being exclusionary
because of religious affiliations. It is the day that everyone can enjoy and be aware that, for the most part, we are fortunate people with much to
be thankful about even if someone might be an atheist or agnostic.
When I moved to Canada about twenty years ago, I was actually surprised to learn that Canada had a Thanksgiving Day. In my ignorance, I actually
believed that the United States was alone in celebrating this day of Thanksgiving. Happily, I discovered that Canada celebrated a similar day of
Thanksgiving and, well, today, October 10th is Thanksgiving Day in Canada.
I would like to extend a Happy Thanksgiving Day greeting to all Canadian ATS/BTS members and, in the spirit of this day, I would like to extend this
greeting to all ATS/BTS members everywhere! Happy Thanksgiving!
