46% of Israeli Jews Support Ethnic Cleansing of Palestinians

Some 46 percent of Israel's Jewish citizens favor transferring Palestinians out of the territories, while 31 percent favor transferring Israeli Arabs out of the country, according to the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies' annual national security public opinion poll.

In 1991, 38 percent of Israel's Jewish population was in favor of transferring the Palestinians out of the territories while 24 percent supported transferring Israeli Arabs.

When the question of transfer was posed in a more roundabout way, 60 percent of respondents said that they were in favor of encouraging Israeli Arabs to leave the country. The results of the survey also reveal that 24 percent of Israel's Jewish citizens believe that Israeli Arabs are not loyal to the state, compared to 38 percent who think the Arabs were loyal to the state at the beginning of the intifada.

How could the people of an ethnic group that has suffered ethnic cleasing from almost every nation[sometimes more than once] on Earth at one time or another wish the same thing on other people?

This hardly shows Israel to be a partner for peace when they are contemplating about the worst thing they could do.

At some point Israel needs to have a border, and a constitution.

Maybe if they simply went ahead and did it now creating a democratic nation their enemies would go away because they would all be EQUAL.

The answer is partly the racism and genocidal policies placed into the mouth of YHWH the clan god of the Israelites and "Moses" in the Torah, the "core of Judaeism", a "chosen people" doctrine that is STILL being taught and read--which may seem surprising in view of the Nazi atrocities in the early 1940s perpetrated by a people who also had a chosen people Weltanschauung, only they called it the Master Race.

Here are a few select verses from the Hebrew Torah that even persons who call themselves "Jews" are often quite ignorant of:

Deuteronomy 20:16 "In the cities of the goyim (i.e. gentile nations, non Jews) that YHWH will give you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything in them behind you that breathes: genocide them all, exterminate every one …."

Numbers 21:35 With YHWH’s approval, the Israelites slay Og "... and his sons and all his people, until there was not one left breathing ...."

Deut 7:2 YHWH commands the Israelites to "genocide them all, leave nothing breathing" and show "no mercy" to those whom he gives them over for defeat.


Numbers 31:17-18 Moses, following explicit command of YHWH, orders all the Israelites to genocide every Midianite male including both adults and male children and "... every woman who has known man by lying with him ...."

There are many more examples of such racist vomit embedded into the Torah which make all those fancy "Houses of Tolerance" seem like a big joke to those of us who can actually read the racist language found stated plainly in all the more ancient versions (e.g. the Samaritan Pentateuch, the socalled Masoretic Text of the 10th century AD, the unpointed Hebrew Vorlage to the Greek Septuaginta, all the Dead Sea Scroll variant Torah copies BC 150 to AD 68 found in caves 1-11 at Qumran etc.) --to say nothing of that heinous book of Joshua which was written by the same hands that produced Deuteronomy (i.e. the circle of Jeremiah around BC 520) ...

And yet the masses are kept from being reminded of any of this for the most part (those who point these things out are usually singled out as racists themselves for doing so !!)

If and when Israel begins tearing down the Dome of the Rock they will be at war with every Muslim in the world, and many, many others.

Also, the veracity of your claim that majority of Palestinians yearn for the destruction of Isreal seems very dubious, the site brings forth no evidence that these numbers are factual, nor do they the source where they were galvanized.

The Palestinians are not leaving of their own free will so the transfer would be forced.

4,000,000+ People being forced from their homeland easily qualifies as Ethnic Cleansing.

Remember the Ethnic Cleansing in Kosovo?

ok considering that arab nations and palistinians have been attacking Israel on several occasions I should think that there is a certain amount of evidence point towards it.

However, I'm certain that while a large amount of Palistinians may support the PLO I'm certain their opinions on the matter sway very widely, after all one would get the impression that America is full of ignorant Red Necks and they would be wrong yes?

Thus its dangerous to assume that an entire people automatically want your destruction it desotroys the desire for peace.

Members of Ariel Sharon's party also support ethnic cleansing of Arabs and want to create a new state between Jordan and Syria, which is where all of the Arabs would be moved.

During the 1800, especially around the time period of 1848, the Springtime of Nations/Springtime of the Peoples, ethnic cleansing was simply called nationalism or national identity.
Example:
Hungary-Kossuth-Hungary for Hungarians.
Italy-Mazzini and Spaventa and Garibaldi-Italy for Italians.
Poland-Kosciuszko-Poland for Poles.
Jellacic (Jelacic)-Croatia for Croats.
Etc., etc.

Or perhaps these earlier than 1800 examples of ethnic cleansing that took place in France, England, and Spain, among other places, of Jews.
Ethnic cleansing appears to have a long historical accounting.

Im not shocked by this either. Israel has neighboring governments that call for its utter destruction. Thats the goverment saying that not some public opinion poll.

They are taking a poll on what they do anyways? They have been doing the "ethnic cleansing" bit for over a half century now.

To the Nazis Ethnic Cleansing was a nicey-nice term for attempted genocide.

In Israel transfer is a nicey-nice term for Ethnic Cleansing.

Attempted genocide? Id say it was a bit more then attempted genocide. This poll is really not shocking considering the problems Israel has been having over the past 60 years. Having every single neighbors, official or unofficial policy being your destruction will make generally make you yearn for extreme action against enemy agents in your midst. The palestinians have proven they deserve nothing less.

What else do you suspect from a people who practice a racist religon, whose religion of hate mutated into the worlds other two most destructive religons: Christianity and Islam. They have always lived with hatred of non Jews even when they came into another land, they showed only contempt for the people who gave them shelter, which in turn, is why they have made themselves less than welcome wherever they go. There is a reason there is so much hatred of Jws in so many countries. It hardly has anything to do with jealousy or other false reasons. It has to do with the xenophobic,bigoted attitude the Jews have carried with them into foreign lands, because their tribal god proclaimed them better than all other people of the world.
