there is a tear in the time space continum above my house (pic)

WTF is this in the sky? (southern california) sorry for the bad pic my camera sucks. I saw this as I was driving along and then there was some sort of aircraft with a bright white flame at the back, and it made a conical shaped chemtrail thing. That faded away, but this stayed. Its really dark out, but this is bright white...

What you saw was this:

In California? Watch for a military launch NOW

This was the launching of a Streak military satellite by a Minotaur rocket. The thread I have linked to states that the launch did indeed occur at night and had a peculiar vapour trail. There is also a picture of the vapour trail which looks very like the one in your photo.

This site also has a picture of the launch down the bottom of the page and displays a contrail which is identical to the one in your own photo. Case solved, my dear Watson.
