OK... prions are blood-borne small protein sub-assemblies of amino acid chains... ubiquitous. Quite beneath the level of the radar of the "Blood-brain Barrier" and current lab tests.
Ok... from the above, nvCJD, and TSE's/virii in general are in the "wild" of the blood supply... and smart capitalist folks see the chance to make a buck...

I hypothesize that the whole range of encephalitic diseases and the transmission vectors needs a restatement of unbiased fact.
My hope is that the upcoming Dutch report gets some decent media exposure.
The threat is very real and growing.
The pot has been on the stove simmerin' since '86.
I don't fancy having to go to the MD to have my Pall Medical "Leukotrap" blood filter changed just so I can have peace of mind when being bitten by a mosquito.
