where is the thread for Australian politics?? It is one of the global leaders, alliancing itself with the triangle (UK, US, and AU) and one of the leaders in the G8, so why doesn't it have its own thread??

Are you suggesting a solely Australian Politics Forum be created within the PTS site?

When you say we're allied with the AU do you mean the African Union?

And what part of G8 includes Australia?

US, UK, Japan, Canada, Russia, Italy, France, Germany.

yeah Australia doesnt really have a big enough role on the international stage to have a forum about it...

How often do we really have international jaw dropping news? never... except when we follow GW to war... then we get a one line mention in the papers and a passing comment on CNN...

BTW we arent in the G8, and no where near (unless you still consider us part of the British Empire)it yet, or probably ever...

population wise Australia is small (more people live in London than the whole of Oz) and Britain aint exactly large, just be glad your not in the news much I wish we wern't

The only "triangle" in which Australia participates is ANZUS, but I have been advocating for a while that New Zealand should be replaced with Niue for strategic value and to create a better acronym.

The Mayor of London has a more ambitious estimate of London's population - 8.1 million by 2016, whereas official government projections bring it in at 7.6 million. That's 11 years from now.
