Paranormal Investigation Group Starting In L.A. Area

How you guys doing,
I thought I would give the heads up to anyone interested in paranormal studies. Currently I am putting together a complete paranormal investigation group that will be based in the Los Angeles area. We are gathering enthusiast, researches, and investigators, and the budget is going everyday..

I was wondering if there were any other groups out there, maybe we could share information.. Or anyone who has any interesting stories to tell (plus I will be watching the boards) Just let me know >

i dont live near LA, (although i will be in the area becuse i have family there) however, i would be interested in knowing what exactly your group would be researching. It sounds like a fairly interesting concept.

Also, is it going to be like Ghostbusters?

*chuckles* I guess you can say that.. But the purpose of the group is to really explore the concept of the paranormal. So far the group is made up of a couple of skeptics and people who are really neutal on the subject.

For me, I started the group because I want to know the truth or at least get one step closer to finding the truth. So as I start openning up my business (unrelated) I will begin to fund the project, as well as the other members..

the only reason difference is we are debating being non-profit or not.. I mean, honestly I think the service should be free, but a couple of the members beg to differ.

As far as what we will be researching, it will be paranormal activity in general. Got a couple of people lined up who would call them selves specialist in the field.. (Wiccans, etc etc), really trying to get the equipment together and then once we handle the legal aspects, then we will begin business.. Just have to make sure the timings right, the resources are ready, and everyone is prepared..

I am really trying to instill in the people that I am working with is that Investigating does not mean go and to find and be done.. But it means understanding the technical aspects of it.. The science.. Culture.. Etc etc.. Not just trying to get it on tape..

I take it your going to do what T.A.P.S. does, except on the west coast?

Exactly.. As a matter a fact I talked to T.A.P.S about membership and they said that considering they changed the process of membership, we have to be established for a year, have an array of cases, and some other requirements.. But so far, that isn't a problem.. I'll checking back in with them in a year..

I don't suppose you'll have any nifty gadgets that will allow you to monitor brain waves, em fields, perform biofeedback, etc?

Hi I live in west LA and have always been interested in the paranormal. I am a wiccan .Are their any other wiccan's involved yet? I would be interested in sincere investigation of the paranormal if such a group wants volunteer's.
