ragnarok

When will odin bless us with knowledge of technology he sacrificed his eye for, and give us large hammers to fight the giants who will attack us during ragnarok?

Ragnarok "Doom of Gods" or Gotterdammerung is the end. Preceded by Fimbulvetr, winters of winters with no summer. Conflicts and fueds will break out even between families and all morality will disappear. This is the beginning, and when it will happen.

A great earthquake will free the wolf Fenrir. The Midgard serpant Jormungand will make its way towards land, and the waves will set free the ship Naglfar, and the giant Hymir as its commander, and set said for the battlefield. From the realm of the dead a second ship will sail, it carries the inhabitants of hell, and loki as thier helmsman. The fire giants led by Surt will leave muspell in the south and join against the Gods.

Heimdall will sound his horn calling the sons of Odin and the Heros (That would be the humans) into the battlefield. From all over the world god, giants, dwarves, deamons and elves will ride toward battle. Odin will be seized by Odin and swollowed, but Odin son VIdar will avenger. Thor will destroy Jormungand, but die of the serpants poisin. Surt will kill freyr. Tyr and garm will kill eachother. Heimdall and loki will do the same.

Finally Surt will fling fire in every direction and the earth will sink into the sea

So most likely the enemies will be Gods, giants, and the dead... at the least. Tho who cares, it will be a GLORIOUS battle!
