Israel expects full-scale Iranian attack in 2006

The US State Department downplays the threat and feels that if Israel fixes the Palestinian issue's, they will take care of the larger threats.

But Israel is not convinced as they have been attacked by coalitions of Middle Eastern nations in the past.

Apparently Iran and friends are waiting for the US to leave the area then they attack Israel.

Yeah right, Iran will do anything to keep that from happening since it thrives on hatred and instigation. If the Palestinian issue is ever solved, regimes such as Iran will lose whatever credibility they have since they will have lost the "evil jew" enemy.

I am sure that Isreal, with Mighty help by USA, and all the Military and Economic cookies they recive, can stand against everybody around them - hell, they can even attack all of them at once if they want. They pretty much rule this area, and with 200 nuclear warheads, who can really do "Anything" against such a military might like that?

Did you read the book Fifth Horseman? There it states, that Isreal will never let Jerusalem fall into Muslim hands again - they would rather erase it from the map, by attacking all the surrounding capital cities with nuclear strikes.

It has almost happened once before in the History - but the planes were called to go home.

And the statement, Israel to get attacked as soon as the US leaves Iraq - hey, dont worry, since US will NEVER leave Iraq in the first place!

Its a real news site reporting this news just as all other news agencies report news. Wether its real or not I dont know, but I read it just the same as if it came form the BBC, CNN, Aljazeera, Rueters, AP, or any other agency out there.

you can see that Iran poses a much higher threat to tiny Israel than the reverse, yet when Iran propagandizes a perceived threat from Israel, you all buy it. But OMG, no way could the peaceful Iranians ever be a threat to anyone! What a crock of BS!!!

The distance seems quite substantial.

Israel has scores of nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them.

Iran does not.

Israel may be a tiny little country on a map, but they have a huge, modern, well equipped military.
Israel is more than capable of defending themselves from Iran, or just about anyone else for that matter.

Iraq had also no comon border with Israel but Iraq soldiers fought against them in 1949.

BTW aboout the people claiming that Teheran/Arab countries has not enough nukes - just look at the Israel map, 2-3 nukes and the whole small country is irradiated, while Israel nuclear response can only destroy the major cities.

Israel and Iran have been threatening eachother, nonstop, for more than two decades.

Even if Iran does get nukes, they have a long way to go to reach any kind of parity with Israel. Do the Israelis have reason to be concerned? Sure. But they also have the means to ensure that any attack on Israel would be suicide.

Iran is determined to destroy Israel or at least push the Jews to the sea so Iran should not have so those words but not its too late so we may we the end of the Jews and the Persians and their cultures and history and lands.
