I didn't have this 'problem' a while back but, how do i get rid of the file extensions like 'Document.TXT' 'Song.MP3' and so on? it makes it look cluttered in explorer [XP]. :bnghd:

Open up 'My Computer'
Click on Tools and select Folder Options
Click on the View tab
In the Advanced settings section, you should see 'Hide extensions for known file types'.
Click it so a check mark is in the box and then click 'OK'
