That would be mysoginistic violence and probably a hate crime. Or something.

But, I stand guilty as charged.

Slap her, she's hysterical.

Joe is so far gone he wouldn't even understand what they were asking - I'm sure it's a mandatory "Depends Check" every 1-2 hrs.
And I bet the job goes to the "new guy" on the Secret Service detail. What a way to serve your country.

We have an expression over here:

"You need a bit of a slap, you mug".

"Slap" being a euphemism for being repeatedly punched in the face. Apparently.

Something I could never condone.

Obviously.

An "ex" is a hasbeen.

A "spurt" is a drip under pressure.

So, yeah, it's an ex-spurt.

So, asking a new born baby their permission to change their nappy is going to help them question authority when they reach adulthood?

Please explain that reasoning?

Back in the day they would flog or give stupid people who did stupid things lashes on the back, and put them in stocks.

Hahaha ya right! I have an almost two year old boy right now. Heā€™s a wild animal, heā€™s way too young to reason with. Itā€™s like asking a raccoon not to go through your trash. These people really have no idea how kids, especially toddlers actually tick. What a stupid idiotic recommendation.

Well, it looks like Deanne Carson is completely and successfully woke and is spouting the exact 100% opposite of the correct answer.

Nothing shocking. And it sucks to be associated with at least 60% of the population as fellow Earthlings.

I have three kids, 4, 7 and 9.

If you cannot control your two year old. you never should have become a parent.

Thatā€™s a pretty low shot at shot at someone you never met. I never said I canā€™t control my two year old. I just happen to understand that many young kids canā€™t quite reason yet, in particular boys. My son is very headstrong and very intelligent, asking him to change a diaper doesnā€™t work. My wife and I happen to be excellent parents and our child is healthy and happy. So check your emotions son.

Yup it is in fact too much.

Kids donā€™t require consent because kids donā€™t have any control over their own lives. Kids canā€™t even begin to control their emotions until they are well past 3.

Me: I am going to change you right now, okay?

My son screaming NO NO NO ONLY WANT TO PLAY HOCKEY!

Me: ok well I am changing You anyway.

My son: NO HOCKEY!

I change him to then he goes and plays hockey. Funny how consent works with kids.

First off, newborns for at least the first 6 months canā€™t talk.

So if we donā€™t get a reply - are we supposed to let our children sit in their feces indefinitely?

In a side note, did you see the pic of this freak - I mean ā€˜expertā€™? Why do they almost always have crazy hair?

Iā€™m pretty sure this ā€˜expertā€™ is mentally challenged.

You'd be surprised how often angels hide behind tattoos and piercings. I'm still waiting for someone to explain what crime she has perpetrated. Having an opinion? A relatively benign opinion at that? Egad.

Crime? Being dumb as a friggā€™n rock. Thatā€™s not a opinion thatā€™s just sheer stupidity.

Consent is an important virtue to teach to kids. The real issue is that consenting to surgery and hormone regimen is a lot different from "can I touch your person to clean you?" which is healthy and constructive and teaches boundaries for kids who don't know they can say no, who need that skill in the real world where saying no is often very complicated. But yeah, stupidity, I guess.

My baby usually wonā€™t go to sleep unless I hold her and rock her. She loves the Pink Elephant remix. I guess thatā€™s like me asking her to go to sleep.

Parenting is an art. It takes real skill to get kids to think that they made right decisions on their own, when it's really you coaxing them to want to do what needs to be done, like playing socker in clean big boy pants, like other big boys!
