Hey Daughter2v2, why don't you stay on topic and address how poorly the women in Iran are treated instead of trying to deflect with anti-Israel crap. It's IRRELEVANT what the orthodox Jews do in Israel in regards to this thread. Go start one of your own about them. Interesting that you try to deflect from discussing what an Islamic country does wrong ... very interesting.

"Waiting for the boomers and the British to show up so they can help advocate for all the sharia law they seem to have grown to love over the recent conflict and how everyone else is evil except the holy perpetual victims Hamas."
You might have a long wait to hear that from Brits.
How is Sharia Law any different from what Dominionists/Christian Nationals are pushing in America?

Annee, are you seriously trying to defend Sharia Law?
I’m atheist.
Why would I defend a belief system?

I don't know, that's one of the reasons I asked.
I sort of got the impression that you were expressing some degree of support for Sharia.
I'm pleased I misread your post, Sharia is a brutal and repressive code of law that governs every aspect of a persons life.

Zionism plays directly into that. The whole 'I would sell my mother by the hour to support Israel no matter what moral disambiguity befalls me because I'm a Christian and to not support the murder of thousands of trapped, defenseless women and children would be unthinkable' schpiel.
Which is a problem because the schizo cousin has got retard strength.

What's interesting is their impression that the right didn't care about the plight of Iranian women until now is projection.
Progressives didn't care. Right-wing media has been covering it for years.
Just like the kids in cages at the border. Right-wing media brought the first attention to that, but Obama was president then so progressives couldn't care less. They only care if there's a way they can exploit them to advance their cause. So once Trump became president, then they pretended to care about those kids.

That's what happens when people are just repeating a few memorized slogans on a subject they don't really know anything about.
They can't say anything else because they don't know anything else.

Actually, Anne, we have it better much better in the US, we got guns, when a son of a b wants to attack women, we just defend ourselves and is all legal.
Leno has been the chair of the Feminist Majority Foundation's Campaign to Stop Gender Apartheid in Afghanistan since 1997. In 1999, Leno and her husband donated $100,000 to the organization, to further the cause of educating the public about the plight of Afghan women under the Taliban. The organization successfully protested the construction of an oil pipeline through Afghanistan, which could potentially have brought in billions of dollars to the Taliban. According to Melissa Rossi, Leno was a driving force in changing the opinion of U.S. President Bill Clinton and the executives of the now defunct oil company Unocal Corporation concerning the Taliban, after Leno had shed light on the group's treatment of women.

The fact is, President Joe Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump, were both eager to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan and end what Biden referred to in his Aug. 16 speech as “America’s longest war.”
The Trump administration in February 2020 negotiated a withdrawal agreement with the Taliban that excluded the Afghan government, freed 5,000 imprisoned Taliban soldiers and set a date certain of May 1, 2021, for the final withdrawal.
And the Trump administration kept to the pact, reducing U.S. troop levels from about 13,000 to 2,500, even though the Taliban continued to attack Afghan government forces and welcomed al-Qaeda terrorists into the Taliban leadership.
