And a large part of that is due to Israel's treatment of West Bank.

Israel occupies the West Bank because the people in the West Bank will not BEHAVE THEMSELVES. They launch terrorist attacks from the West Bank into Israel and they call for the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. If the West Bank population would knock it off ... they wouldn't be occupied. Israel does so for it's own protection.

West Bank gave up their weapons decades ago ...

I dunno' about that. They have plenty to carry out suicide bombings in Israel and firebombings and stabbings and shootings. They are getting their weapons from somewhere. Probably Iran smuggling them in.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 | POLICY BRIEF

WEST BANK ROCKET FIRE SEEKS TO OPEN NEW FRONT AGAINST ISRAEL

www.fdd.org...

Palestinian terrorists operating near Jenin in the northern West Bank launched a rocket at Israel on September 10, the seventh attempted rocket attack from the area since June. Given that Palestinians had not fired rockets at Israel for over a dozen years since the Second Intifada, these launches may be part of an effort to open up a new front in the rocket war against the Jewish state.

A new group that calls itself the Al-Ayash Battalion has claimed responsibility for the rocket launches, which the group has widely broadcast on social media.

The battalion is named in honor of Hamas leader Yahya Ayash, known as “The Engineer,” who was the terror group’s chief bombmaker and whose inventions were used to murder dozens of Israeli civilians in the early 1990s. Ayash was killed in an explosion in 1996, presumably by Israel though it never took responsibility for the assassination.

The bored mainstream media is drooling over the prospect of "new fronts" opening in the war... And have been drooling over this potential for the past 60 days.

The news media is owned by: 😈

Really. Because the “media” ran with the lies that Israeli air strikes were responsible for the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital parking lot explosion on Oct 17 (with the Palestinian Health Ministry lie 500 were killed) and the 70 killed during evacuation on Oct 13 on Salah-al-Din street.

Then dropped the stories when it came to light Palestinians were at fault.

Like how the media ignored the thousands of rockets launched at Israel over the years. That Hamas steels aid. And somehow Hamas terrorist fighters are never killed? (As in the fighters get listed as noncombatants). Huge scandals the “ media” would report gleefully if it was any other government. But gets ignored since it’s Hamas the elected government of Hamas.

Or how about the journalist along for the ride on Oct 7 with Hamas.

Hopefully Americans are too smart to be fooled, when the news media tries to defend themselves in 2025, the year of retribution against evil.

I think history shows that not to be the case.

That Hamas is a real terrorist organization and one of the groups fighting a proxy war against the values of stuff like freedom of religion waged by Iran?

All about Iran. Hamas and Hezbollah are Iran. Nothing will change in the ME until the neutralisation of Iran is complete.

Israel says time running out to reach diplomatic solution in Lebanon
Officials’ warning echoes those of two ministers, as fighting with Hezbollah intensifies on boundary............

"Israeli officials have hinted that the “diplomatic hourglass” is running out to reach a negotiated solution to the escalating fighting on the boundary with Lebanon, even as the war in Gaza continues at a ferocious pace.

Security sources said the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah fired the most rockets and weaponised drones on Wednesday that it had in any single day since the clashes across the border began.

Israel and the powerful Iran-backed Hezbollah have traded near-daily volleys of missiles, airstrikes and shelling across the UN-controlled blue line separating the countries since 7 October, when the Palestinian militant group Hamas attacked southern Israel from the Gaza Strip, killing 1,140 people and taking up to 250 hostage. About 150 people in Lebanon have been killed, including 17 civilians, and 11 in Israel, including four civilians, with tens of thousands in both countries displaced from their homes.

A report from Israel’s Kan radio on Thursday, after a particularly intense rocket salvo hit the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona, quoted a government source as saying that the parties were “approaching the point when the chance of reaching an agreement that might guarantee that Hezbollah was distanced from the border would be exhausted … The sand in the diplomatic hourglass in Lebanon is running out.”

The US is still funding Iran and haven't blocked any of the billions sent to them.

Your government may have handed over the dough for sure, I can't remember but our UK government promised the same for release of Zahawi Radcliffe. If the dosh belongs to Iran fair enough. Still doesn't mean the Eyeotollars and their medieval set up aren't lined up for the mother of all battles. Everything in the Israeli conflict is about Iran. There can be no peace between Israel and the Arabs without Iran being pushed back to its borders and neutralised. Everything in the region we know as the ME is about Iran. Peace can only come with the neutralisation of Iran.

You wouldn't have had to worry about the first two if Israel had concentrated on the third.

You don't deradicalize someone by bombing housing, hospitals, and schools.

In fact, it has the exact opposite effect.

They know people aren't going to be deradicalized-

This will an excuse to stop free speech, control press, stop outside observers and stop any public complaints about Israel's treatment.

It worked for Saddam for 30 years.

I suspect this is just his opening offer in what will become a negotiation to end the conflict. He knows he's not getting all that. But you don't walk in being open about exactly what you want, because you're gonna get talked down from there.

I think Netanyahu’s three prerequisites are more like a reserve price at a Barrett-Jackson car auction.

How on Earth can he define how "deradiclisation" might be achieved?

They'd pretty much have to stop being Muslim since Islam itself is inherently violent and anti-Jew.
