You may have noticed (or maybe not) that the South African Government has asked for Netanyahou and his Government to be arrested for crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide.

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni said it would signal a "total failure" of global governance if the ICC does not do so.

It's clear what they're saying and I think they know better what genocide and Apartheid means.

And no! The aim doesn't justify the means! You can't reply to war crimes with war crimes. How many times we have to say this??

According to the Convention, genocide is a crime that can take place both in time of war as well as in time of peace. The definition contained in Article II of the Convention describes genocide as a crime committed with the intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, in whole or in part.

That's around 1 in 140 civilians who have been killed without discussing how many have been badly injured or injured altogether (34,000 according to the article).

Let's see what 1 in 140 means taking for example the US Population of around 340,000,000

That's 2,428,571 people.

Intent to destroy is clear on both sides either it's Hamas or the Israeli Army and their Politicians (some of them). All you need to do is take a look at their genocidal rhetoric where they ask for Gaza to be burned, erased from the face of the Earth, and even nuked.

You're mistaken for once more or deliberately misinterpreting the topic of this thread because according to this wonderful politician 12,000 did indeed die but they were terrorists.

Do you see how the entire political establishment of Israel has been exposed? The State and Army have been hijacked by a number of ultras right wing fascistoids who will not only harm their own people with their decisions but the entire area in the middle East.

This particular politician is a centrist. So imagine what happens when you're extreme right... People are asking for Gaza to be nuked, erased from the face of the earth, or burned. You see the clear intent that you try to argue doesn't exist.

I am afraid the aim doesn't justify the means! You can't reply to war crimes with war crimes.

You need to come with better arguments other than what kind of problems the South African Government faces at the moment. And this is true for all countries including us. It doesn't make their argument any less valid and their request for Netanyahou and his Government to be arrested and brought before the ICC.

Strawman.

The world doesn't want endless conflicts and mass murder of civilians. This conflict is the most recent one and it's very brutal and that's why it has caught the attention of the entire world.
