The Justice Department said Wednesday it is investigating politicians, military officers and government contractors for buying sex through a high-end brothel network operating in Massachusetts and the D.C. suburbs.

Federal prosecutors in Massachusetts charged three people with running the network: Han Lee and Junmyung Lee of Massachusetts and James Lee of California. The two Massachusetts defendants were scheduled to have initial court appearances Wednesday afternoon.

Sounds like we may have a successor to Deborah Palfrey.

There's not a lot of information on this yet other than that there have been multiple high-end brothels operating out of Massachusetts and the DC suburbs. The DOJ have stated that among their clientele includes politicians and military officials. As of yet, no names have been released except for the three men that were arrested for operating the brothels.

This will definitely be a case to keep an eye on and the possible national security ramifications it may have. Especially if any of these three men meet the same fate as Palfrey.

Very interesting, thanks for posting. S&F. It will be interesting to see the names on this start coming out. Things could get pretty dicey for some powerful people.

Especially these guys....

Court records show three people accused of conspiring to coerce and entice others to travel to engage in illegal sex activity have been charged: Han Lee 41, of Massachusetts, James Lee, 68, of California and Junmyung Lee, 30, of Massachusetts.

The client list will be turned over when the attorneys for Han, James and Junmyung, start the plea bargaining.

When the trial starts is when the "leaks" will occur. Political sex scandals are always a media favorite.

Neither, but I'm sure a few names will be leaked accidentally on purpose and end one or more careers.

So, strategic names?

Because that would be consistent!

Brothels should be 100% legal, so long as everyone involved is of the age of consent or older, and everyone is there willingly.

I don't disagree. However, the fact they are illegal in most of the country means that government officials open themselves up to blackmail when they do partake in their services.

Records will be sealed. We'll never see any lists.

... Han Lee and Junmyung Lee of Massachusetts and James Lee...

Three people with the surname of Lee. Two with distinctly Chinees given names. Hmmm...

Couldn't be a Chinese honeytrap, now, could it?

No way! I couldn't imagine that our intelligent, brave and ever vigilant politicians and military leaders would ever let themselves be compromised by getting caught in a honeytrap run by foreign agents. Surely they vetted the pimps and whores (Oh, excuse me! "Sex Workers.") first to make sure they were completely honest hard working people with no connections to China whatsoever.

Seriously, can people get any more stupid?

Wait, don't say that. They'll take it as a challenge!
