I might as well be new....

Historically, I lurk. My old handle was Wizzz0001. Yup. Invisible.
So, since this reset, I figured that it was a good time to
re-introduce myself and actually start contributing to a community that
I have come to call home. Some of the military or geopolitical insights given were really enlightening
and I've definitely enjoyed learning from these posts.

Although, I am enjoying some of the antics that have been going on, I
am hoping (overly optimistically?) that the site will be restored to it's old self. Or something
similar. I DO agree with the members who are saying that the lack of communication from the owners
my be indicative of something else being afoot. I don't, however, have any theory as to what.
In any case, here's to our new iteration. I'm hoping that as things evolve it won't
be an issue of entropy.

It's crazy how this so-called hack job has inspired so many to re-introduce themselves. I was given the ban hammer like 2 years ago maybe? I really don't like a certain mod here, but I don't really want to see this place disappear.

Agreed. There are some highly intelligent contributors here and I do like the
point/counterpoint that goes on. It;s definitely been of benefit to me.

I'm an old time member since 2007 but I think I'm going to lurk this one out for awhile maybe

Good point! I've wondered about that for quite some time.
Given the quality of some of the threads and posts, I often wonder
if some of the members may be in positions to do that sort of thing
or at least be "in the know".
Then the is the total viewership including non-members. That, right there,
makes for quite a bit of influence.
