The MAL documents case has all the flash and intrigue of Tom Clancy book. So, understandably, the media has been focused on it.

At the same time however, Jack Smith has quietly been putting together a case focused on the events surrounding J6.

I'm kind of surprised there isn't a thread dedicated to this investigation, but I feel like the events of the past week, and the fact that an indictment will probably be coming down in the next month, warrant a thread.

So major points over the past week:

1.) Rudy had a proffer session with the DOJ. Essentially he thought he was going to jail, so he offered the DOJ evidence against bigger fish in exchange for a lighter sentence.

2.) Boris Epshteyn spent two days with the DOJ. Epshteyn is essentially Trump's consigliere. He had already recused himself from the case because he knew he was a target. So spending two days being interviewed by prosecutors is fairly significant.

3.) The special counsel's team had a meeting with Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia Secretary of State that Trump had a "perfect phone call" with. So clearly Smith is looking into the fake elector angle.

4.) The media revealed that the special counsel was prepped to indict a number of Trump's lawyers. Which could explain the behavior of Rudy & Epshteyn.

5.) And that brings us to yesterday's news. Apparently the call to Raffensperger wasn't unique. Trump also called Arizona governor Doug Ducey and asked him to "find" enough votes to give Trump the victory in the state.

There's a lot more to this case that I'm sure will touch on in the coming days and weeks. But for now, I present to you Trump's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week in regards to this case.

And to be honest, that's not even all of it. There were a lot more people that have flipped. Rudy and Epshteyn just happen to be the most notable.

What is your source(s) for this propaganda? Asking for a friend.

ETA Using someone else's work without crediting them is plagiarism. Do not be like Joe Biden.

*yawn*

I'm just waiting for the left to assign an impartial firing squad for Trump. He has got to be the most slandered, investigated person on the planet. The left has thrown everything including the kitchen sink at him.

J6 is all the left has.

It's their Reichstag Fire.

Never mind our failing economy, our failing education system, the horrible and shameful Afghanistan withdrawal, or our open southern border, it J6 and "Get Trump".

It must be so terribly embarrassing to be a democrat these days.

Can you explain to me how wanting to better your country for everyone living in it is a “cult”? I see you dodged this question in the last post.

You probably haven't seen a thread on this because there are members on this site who think that there was nothing wrong with what happened on January 6, or who think that actually 'it was a good insurrection' (we all know who I'm talking about), or who just - as you can see in the answers above this one - deny that there's a case, when it's obvious that hell yes there is one.
It's the hypocrisy that gets me. If a Democrat had done even a tenth of what Trump did after losing the 2020 Presidential election they'd be calling for them to be hung, drawn and quartered. But because it was their boy Donnie everything he did was all just fine and in no way illegal.
Oh and here's a link to the Ducey allegations - www.independent.co.uk...
I have no words for the thing that squats in MAL. Rumour has it he thinks he's going to be indicted again. Welp, if Rudi's singing like a bird (I hope he's sober) then Trump's toast, as Barr said.

When you made this post I had only made the OP. And that was only about 20 minutes before your post. So what exactly do you mean by dodging questions?

I think the GA investigation is coming to a conclusion as well. The grand Jury reconvenes in the next few weeks and Trump posted a huge rant the other day about the case. He said that of course Fani is racist and the charges will be dropped. Well, currently there are no charges, but he did this exact same type of post right before being indicted in NY and in the MAL case. I believe his lawyers probably received some not so good news.

With Smith's case, when Rudy, Meadows and others flip. You're in big trouble. Is the wire fraud part of this case too? Or is that separate do you know?

We know when the Georgia indictment is going to hit.

That's why I think the federal charge is hitting this month.

Trump also called Arizona governor Doug Ducey and asked him to "find" enough votes to give Trump the victory in the state.

How about the full context? Trump asked him to go through the voting records-all that was needed was for 10,000 illegal ballots to be removed to give him the win.

What's wrong with asking the criminal activity of illegal votes to be addressed?

We all know-at least those with an IQ greater than a rock- that there are far too many illegal votes being cast in every state. Mail-in voting and early voting is only going to compound the problem but liberals only want it fixed when they lose.

Christopher Krebs, the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency - appointed by Trump - said that the election was fair and there were no widespread irregularities of the kind that Trump was ranting wildly about.
Trump fired him.

You know even people like you should recognize the same play
they keep using over and over.. These people don't care at all if
they have a case against Trump. Even they know they dont.Win or
lose they don't care! Because this is how they interfere in the election.
They just can't let Trump win or their all going to prison.

But go on support this injustice it's all good weaponizing
our justice system, interfeing in our our elections, and violating
the constitution. As long as they finally get Trump. An obviously
innocent man. Just don't forget any of this when these communist
thugs come for you. Remember the part you played sending this country
down the ringer.

Bravo amigo

Or maybe your savior is a criminal? You believe in your heart, that his very own attorneys, numerous and numerous employees, various other long time conservative GOP people are just out to get him? He left his true J6 Patriots out to dry, while pardoning his friends and as apparently emails from Rudy say, he granted them for money. Yet, even though his own 2 other hidden until recently investigations found no fraud, he grifted on the lie that the election was stolen, taking money from regular hard working people, so that Meadows could get a million, other friends could get a million, Melania's stylist could get hundreds of thousands and not one penny spent related to any kind of "election fraud". The dude owes thousands and thousands to numerous states from his previous election year rallies. He owes his own lawyers money. His lawyers need attorneys and have been sanctioned, disbarred for bringing forth exaggerated claims with no proof.

He's bragged about purposely keeping government documents, those that work for him and even a celebrity claim that he showed them documents and maps he had no business doing.

Trump??? Donald Trump??? Innocent?????
I'm sorry, I just paused to laugh hysterically. He's disgustingly corrupt, he always has been. His father taught him well. There are tradespeople in New York who turn and spit at the mention of his name, because he stiffed them on paying for work they did for him. The man refuses to see anything wrong in stiffing other people (as that way he keeps his money) and refuses to admit that he's ever wrong. Remember the Central Park Five? He took out adverts in the papers urging that they get the death penalty. When DNA evidence proved them guilty did he admit that he was wrong? Are you kidding me - of course not!
He has the morals of a depraved alley cat, married three times, cheated on all of them, accused of rape and molestation multiple times, he's on tape admitting what part of a woman he likes to grab, he sleeps with and pays off porn stars.
We know he fiddles his taxes, the man has paid little if any taxes on multiple years thanks to fraudulent accounting practices.
He used his presidency to try and get as money out of as many people as possible, whilst wilfully failing to understand the limitations of the legal powers at his disposal. He is a malignant narcissist who refused to believe that he could possibly have lost the 2020 election and who then broke the law again and again to try and change the result. And then there was the documents fiasco. It's got to the point where his lawyers are probably breaking down and crying every time he opens his big fat lying mouth and digs the hole he's in deeper and deeper.
.
..
...
Wow. That was cathartic.

I'm sorry but this right here proves you're willing to spread lies.

The guy refused his salary even so how can you even force yourself to believe that crap

You don't even make good sense you got so much hate?

Just say it for me once please? I HATE DONALD TRUMP! And will never turn from it.

For the record I'm no fan of Trump.

I just see clearly and don't hate.

The salary was small potatoes compared to the amount of money that Trump got out of his sheep, and we don't even know if he donated his 2020 salary, because his tax returns are as clear as mud (www.cnbc.com...).
I am genuinely at a loss when people call Trump 'innocent'. The man is utterly corrupt. And yet people keep falling for his schtick. He's a snake oil salesman. FFS, the man used to US Ambassador to the UK to try and get the British Government to somehow put Trump Turnberry back on the list of golf courses that will host the Open Championship.

He was requesting signature verification in Georgia as well, which is obvious in context with the entire conversation.

Find me the votes, means find the bad votes. You can stop as soon as you find enough to tie + 1. That means that there were enough bad votes to change the outcome.

The opposing team has always just assumed he meant 'manufacture new votes'. He clearly meant "find the cheat".
