Pentagon officials cheer Tucker Carlson’s ouster

The ones who are very happy with Tucker Carlson’s ouster from FOX News are the Pentagon officials.
The same ones pushing the war in Ukraine heavily.

Tucker had criticized heavily the Biden admin on the war in Ukraine.
Even both parties a bit.

Its not surprising that Pentagon wants the war in Ukraine escalated further.

The Pentagon is a cess pool of career yes men that really care nothing for the Armed Forces. I am sure a lot of people here can back me up on that.
It's all a cushy money game for them.
My dad was offered full bird to go work there but he said screw you guys.
I recall him saying that the Pentagon causes more divorces than adultery, as well.

Obviously Pentagon officials make their living on the death of others, (it used to be for the protection of others, but not anymore), so of course they will show their disdain like little whiny kids when someone like Tucker comes along and exposes their self interests in war mongering.

I tend to agree, this is theater.

Also, if we presume that Tucker Carlson was the "thorn in their side" described, we have to accept that whatever he spewed as a talking-head mattered to them at all.

The "Pentagon" folks are now cluster of "cloistered" quasi-governmental contractors of former military status. Most are lined up for civilian press positions and beltway lobbying gigs. They really don't care what some celebrity says.

If Tucker is who most think he is, the "message" isn't going to stop just because FOX Corporation isn't paying him anymore. So why the 'celebration?' It's not like malfeasance stops being bad if no one talks about it.

There was a male super in an all-female department. Every woman under him called him a P*!ck, and he was.

There was a time people were able to vent and blow off steam; now it's no longer acceptable. In order to release that tension you need to take out a bunch of people.....
