It has been well known he was too old to travel overseas. Also there is suspicion that that the VP MIGHT then get a vote of no confidence and then something worldwide will cause mass hysteria.

Just reported that Japan will up the purchase of LP GAS from Russia.

Also the yen went from 130 to 134 just in a few days. Makes imports more expensive.
