A school has suspended its sex education curriculum after a drag queen guest reportedly told pupils there were 73 genders and made a child who argued that there are 'only two' leave the classroom.

An independent review has been launched into Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel, Isle of Man, after Year 7 children were left 'traumatised' after being taught about sex-change operations and sexual acts.

When a pupil said 'there's only two', the drag queen made the child leave the classroom.

The children were also taught about oral and anal sex, while another group were informed about sex-change operations and how skin grafts can be used on an artificial penis.

A petition, addressed to the school's head teacher, has been started by parents calling for an 'immediate investigation' into the lessons.

It reads: 'We consider the attendance of a "drag queen" in class and alienating students clearly confused about the information discussed during this session wholly inappropriate

How, who and why was this guest speaker permitted to discuss gender issues to an inappropriate child audience by an inexperienced and untrained adult?'

The Isle of Man government has said it has launched an independent review to gain an understanding of what has taken place.

Welcome to the real world! Where 73 genders exist and whoever questions the wisdom, knowledge, and authority of a wonderful drag queen will be made to leave the class and apologise for their inappropriate behaviour.

What? Don't you see there are 73 genders and a man can now identify as a woman whenever he wants and access women's only spaces. What a transphobe, bigot, and racist you are. Shame on you!

Give a doctorate in education to the drag queen. Greta Thunberg will be receiving her own doctorate in Theology later this year and I don't see why society has to miss this great opportunity and reward all drag queens in the world with doctorates in education and let them in the classroom do their wonderful and magnificent work.

Well, a man who also sometimes cross dresses spoke with children about gender neutral language.

Gender neutral language isn't a thing. It's what a hanful of people demand from the majority. There is no need to be aware of anything. It's an agenda.

A child was spoken to outside the classroom to be warned by a teacher to stay respectful.
Why was this kid singled out? It's disgusting. There are only two biological genders, the rest are based on feelz and look at me's.

Nice try but I don't think the story is fake news. The guardian is well known for their stand on the issue and cannot be trusted to provide accurate account of these events.

You also forget that a drag queen has no place in a classroom and should have never been there in the first place.

I would love to believe that this is fake news, but in todays here and now, I am not surprised by anything. You could tell me that a state had made it illegal to discriminate against someone for their hairstyle and I would believe it. Oh wait, Arizona made that a reality......

As long as you are not a heterosexual, Christian, Caucasian, male, you are allowed to say whatever you want, whenever you want and it is all true.

The drag queen can say what he/she wants but not in classroom full of children who are being taught nonsense by someone who shouldn't be in the classroom.

We used to put these people in mental asylums-
Not got their own good, but for the good of society.

Then we started letting the mentally unstable live among us, helping them live and breed.

A few short generations later, the inmates are running the asylums and the whole world is laughing at us

Who invited the speaker? And why?
What is the purpose to have a drag queen in a school? Are they looking for future clients?....

There could be as many as 72 gender identities. There is a little mistake made I can confess. One source says 73 genders the other 72... So we could have an investigation on what the drag queen said.

It's funny as most of us happen to know two genders we seem to have missed in our entire lives the other 70 or 71...

There was a meme posted in the Post A Funny (T&C Friendly) thread the other day about how we grew up with drag in our lives (Mrs. Doubtfire, Rocky Horror Picture Show, White Chicks, etc), how I do agree with that, this was at our own homes and not in our schools. We were not bringing Tim Curry to our school in lingerie to talk to us about being part of the LGBT+$%&#/? movement. They say that religion has no place in the classroom then bring this crap right on in.

I have a coworker who, for as long as I have known him, has made the same argument for this.

They were invited as a guest. I hope the School realised the mistake and should not be inviting any drag queen in the future as a guest or in any other capacity. They have no place in Schools trying to teach and promote nonsense as facts to young kids.

I agree, whether they were invited or just showed up, they should not have been there. I wouldn't be allowed to go to a school and talk about being a 2A advocate. I would be arrested, locked up, and the key thrown away for being a domestic terrorist.

The school is taking hits and getting threatened, so we called the "fact checkers" in to say, this is inaccurate, but did kind of happen, he wasn't dressed in drag, but he usually does these things dressed in drag, but we didn't have a drag queen teach a sex class.

When half of what was said was not true what should we call it, half fake? Do we need 72 (or 73) different levels to classify the truth in a piece of news?
In this case, if what the Guardian article says is true (personally, I accept as more likely to be true a Guardian article than Daily Mail article, based on what I have seen through the years), then someone invented the most shocking part of the news (it was a sex education class, oral and anal sex was talked about, one child was sent outside by the gest for disagreeing with him/whatever).

The best way of spreading false information is to mix it with real information, as it makes it more believable.

That depends on why they invited that person.

If it was to talk about "gender neutral language" then he/whatever was supposed to say any thing he/whatever thought was relevant.

Should the school invited a part-time drag queen to talk about "gender neutral language"? I don't think it was the best choice.

This is exactly what I said. The Guardian is a British Newspaper well known for the support it has for the woke ideology. They are trying to downplay the matter bringing up fictional inaccuracies and make themselves ridiculous on the way.

It wasn't dressed up as a drag queen although he/she is a drag queen on the weekends...let's say part time drag queen. That sort of reasoning. Ridiculous!

He/she didn't say there were 73 genders but suggested there could be as many as 72 gender identities.. absolutely ridiculous!

The member above was keen to brand the news as fake without realising that the fake news come from his source i .e the left wing Guardian that has become a spectacle in the last few years with articles like this.

It sounds like they are doing the right thing by suspending the program and rethinking things. This is the UK, maybe the pendulum is swinging back in a rational direction after swinging so far left. Hopefully this is or soon will be a trend over here as well.

Sexual education is important though.
Even if you don't allow your kids to have sex you can't lock them in and survey them all the time.
So you just should teach them early that it's dangerous and only for adults who respect eachother.
And if it should happen in any sort of freak accident:
Always use protection! Until you're both tested.
In a global world, 'as is' that's super important to hammer that in.
