Can you imagine Atlas if they would add ChatGPT to it ? It would be walking dictionary that you could also talk, and have a conversations
The movements of Atlas now seems quite good to me, even if it was programmed all before doing the video.

I think Optimus is just a stage prop really.

I think the video is fake because the movements do not seem real. It looks like CGI. If I was there and saw it then I'd be more inclined to say it was real.

well to me the video is real , and from Boston Dynamics own youtube channel , it would backfire if they made fake videos IMO .

Why does Boston Dynamics make these videos? It all seems so scripted, and for some nefarious reason. Why are they always scripting and orchestrating this narrative idea of super robots?

Thats impressive!

Its not quite "I, Robot" just yet.

But it doesn't look to be far off.

The only part that looks fake is the jump twist part at the end(55-second mark).

It is not fake.. People see the writing on the wall

and want to put their head in the sands about it ..

This is the start of Terminator and it can be scary
to wrap your head around doesn't make it not real..

The problem being "The Terminator" was a scary fictional movie aka unreal.

Can you turn off the razzle dazzle stuff? I want mine with no razzle dazzle.

I'm always impressed with the Boston Dynamics robots. I don't agree that the videos are faked as like mentioned above, they have too much to lose. However, I do think they're pre-programmed manoeuvres. Even if that is the case it doesn't take away from the sheer 'physical' ability the units have.
