Thus far in December 2022 in China, a very narrow definition is being applied to what qualifies as a COVID-19 death:

www.msn.com...

If so, then the total number of excess deaths in China is skyrocketing. Long lines of funeral hearses have been seen this month outside of crematoriums in China. It appears that a numbers game has been constructed to obscure the actual total number of recent deaths in China where the person who died had gotten sick with COVID-19.

That doesn't make any sense.

First of all, changing how you define of who died of what doesn't change the number of deaths. Only the classification. So, why should change in definition cause long lines of funeral hearses?

Secondly, the definition is exactly AS IT SHOULD BE. If anyone obscures the actual total numbers, it is the west. It appears China defines Covid deaths exactly as they should be defined :

The country will only count people who tested positive for Covid and died of respiratory failure as official virus deaths

Since Covid is a rv disease, only death from respiratory failure should count as covid death. Everything else should be counted death WITH covid, not from. This is how it works for any other disease.

Thirdly, the number of excess deaths is completely unaffected by how you categorize the deaths. Unless you mean "excess beyond covid" - which is not how excess deaths are defined. Excess deaths are those that are above the long-term average.

If they can keep you locked up and completely control every facet of your life by labeling you a health threat, why would they do it any differently.

Especially when the people are discontented, mad, and ready to rebel.

A positive test and direct causation from the respiratory effect of a disease that literally has respiratory in its name is not narrow, it's clinically accurate.

The US classifying all positive COVID tests as COVID deaths was overly broad.

It was already fairly well established that they were suppressing numbers anyway.

If excess mortality is a sign of out of control COVID mortality in China then what do you suppose is causing the spike in excess mortality in the West? Keeping in mind that the overly broad definition allowed in the US still is showing the excess mortality is non-COVID deaths what else has changed since COVID was discovered? Is there some factor that large percentages of the Western populations were subject to that is causing it?

The pharma shills and their media sycophants don't think the logic of their conflicting claims through very thoroughly. If excess deaths are meaningful again then maybe somebody should be asking what's causing it in the West that isn't COVID, but was introduced after COVID.

I wonder what it could be?

Careful!

You sound like not only are you capable of independent thought, but you are actually practicing independent thought.

That may get you more than a label.
