There was a strong 3rd party candidate that got a lot of independent votes.
Independents usually vote Republican when there are only 2 candidates.
We shall see if it is "honk honk" time.

Good chance that this election will boil down to a Georgia runoff in December, Senate wise.

Republicans still poised to take the House by 2 to 4 seats.

In any case, the pendulum has stopped swinging leaving the playing field ripe for new blood in 2024 on both sides.
