One thing I saw on RTP1's (main channel of the state Portuguese television) site was that besides Darya Dugina, also her daughter was killed, but I haven't found any other source saying that.

For over a decade, both father and daughter have advocated for Russia's invasion. They have said many times that Russia can only thrive if Ukraine is destroyed.

Funny how someone considered a fringe opinion writer in Russia is suddenly elevated to the position of "spiritual advisor" to Vladimir Putin and a powerful political policy figure.

I have been following Russian political news and events for a fairly long time, including in the MSM and have never once seen him mentioned! Not that I am suggesting the MSM would just make s**t up!

Some sites point the differences between what Dugin has been saying and real Russian decisions to show that if he does have an influence is not that big, so although Putin may share some of his views I doubt he is "Putin's brain", like some sites call him.

May well have been the Ukraine that committed the attack, but they are denying it, and further study is probably required.
