Dog Rescued After Two Months In A Cave

I looked at a few links and not much info except that it happened. No idea how the dog got down there but some spelunkers found her and made a pretty cool rescue effort to bring the emaciated dog back to her home.

What was meant to be a project weekend for the Cave Research Foundation turned into a rescue mission for one group after they came across Abby, who had been missing since early June. "It's hard to believe, she's been gone for so long," Kathy Bohnert, Abby's owner, told CBS affiliate station KFVS.

Rick Haley, a caver with about 32 years of experience, told Newsweek that they did a physical examination to check for injuries.

"We could tell she was malnourished, she was cold and she was muddy," he said. "Her nails were long and pointed, which indicated that she hadn't done much walking around."

And, Haley said, the area experienced tremendous rainfall.

Abby was unable to walk out of the cave, which was when she was put into a duffle bag to be carried out.

Just a little bit of upbeat since this site is drowning in doom, gloom and political nonsense.

Like I said, I don't live in the city... I could spend ten grand on lumber and not have enough to build a suitable fence, the # demons would just walk around it.

Maybe, but it's still the owners fault, not the dogs. I've had many dogs, always cleaned up after them on my own yard so as not offend others. They never strayed. I didn't let them roam free to do as such.

Nothing wrong with a good dog being with a good dog owner, but bad dog owners have a lot to answer for.

Same with a neighbour who's dog is an incessant barker.. Sort it out. But don't blame the animal, and I stand by that.

It is Very easy to train a dog Not to do it in the house.
You get a pup and if they pee/poo in the house
rub there nose in it a LITTLE!!!
adult dog to. and cats!
you dont clean the cat toilet! You clean it up.

it will Not take long to try them.
But YOU must pay Attention!
they will try to tell you when they need to go.
or they just give up on YOU!

another tick dont let them toch there food
untill you tell them to.
