A group of truckers continued to halt cargo traffic at the Port of Oakland on Wednesday deepening concerns over major supply chain disruptions at one of the country’s largest ports and a key hub for global commerce.
The protest spilled into its third day on Wednesday after escalating to a near complete shutdown of port activity the day before, and port officials were signaling that the main terminal likely would be shuttered once again on Thursday.
At nearly a century old, the Port of Oakland is one of the top three gateways on the West Coast and it handles virtually all of Northern California’s containerized imports and exports.

Could be another planned Hegelian Dialectic with a sudden miracle "solution" 😎
Who benefits and who loses ?😎
Government will nationalize the ports, effectively controlling the means of production.

I think a few industries are about to get nationalized. When that happens...be ready man cause it won't be cool.

I remember when the Canadians were first allowed to run in the US in the early 80’s. Sure were a lot of trucks worked over with 12 gauges. Seems deregulation and some union busting happen around then as well…

Maybe we shouldn't be screwing with the logistics in a post retail world?
Just a thought, most stores would be out of supplies in two days if the trucks stopped... So maybe we should let them work?
