Hello ATS!

Western mainstream media are trumpeting some kind of colossal Biden success in Saudi Arabia. In the rest of the civilized world, this causes terrible laughter. But first things first.

First. Propaganda.

There is now an anecdote in Russia that clearly and humorously describes the situation with Biden's visit.

"At the international running competitions, a race was arranged between two athletes: a Russian and a Ukrainian-American. The Russian ran first, the Ukrainian-American - the second. The next day, Russian newspapers write:
- In the race, an athlete from Russia was the first to run, the second was an athlete from Ukraine-USA.
At the same time, American and British newspapers write:
– In the historical race, our Ukrainian-American athlete took an honorable second place. Russian - in a shameful penultimate place ... "

And so in everything.

Second. The Americans said that after Biden's visit to Saudi Arabia, the Arabs promised to increase oil production by as much as 50%. It would seem - a triumphant victory for the White House. The Saudis will flood the market with oil, prices will collapse ...

However, to paraphrase the well-known phrase "The devil is in the details", we can say that "Biden is in the details."

The fact is that not all oil production in Arabia will increase by 50%, but the increase in production planned for the summer will increase by 50%. Difficult phrase, but I will explain.

As part of the OPEC + agreement, the Saudis already planned to increase production in June and August by 171,000 barrels per day. That is, now they will increase production not by 171, but by 171+85 (+50%) thousand barrels. That is, these 85,000 additional barrels are all that Biden agreed to.

Is it a lot? Considering that Arabia produces something like 12 million barrels per day, 85 thousand is an increase of much less than 1%. And that's just in Arabia.

In total, the world produces about 100 million (!) barrels of oil every day. Even if the Saudis throw another +85 thousand barrels on the market, it will be less than 0.1%. That is, it's like pouring a glass of water into a pool. Technically, there is an increase. But in fact, no one will notice this increase.

The United States itself is extracting an additional 1 million barrels from strategic storage facilities every day. Every day! But even this measure does not bring down the price of oil and fuel within the United States.

What will these unfortunate +85 thousand barrels give? This is more of a mockery from the Saudis.

Third. How Biden was received in Saudi Arabia is just a mockery. Suffice it to recall that Trump was received like a king. He was given a whole hotel, entirely (not a floor in a hotel, like Biden). Honors were given.

True, Putin was accepted as a kind of deity. He was given the entire royal palace. Putin's motorcade was escorted by elite cavalrymen on elite horses, the motorcade's escort vehicles consisted entirely of Ferraris with Russian identification marks. Putin and the crown prince not only bumped their fists, as they did with Biden, but embraced like brothers. Putin's visit to Saudi Arabia was celebrated as a national holiday.

Well, Biden, following the results of the visit, once again called the crown prince a murderer. I remember that a boot was thrown at Bush in Iraq, and during a meeting with Obama, Middle Eastern politicians, sitting in their chairs and cross-legged, demonstratively directed the soles of their boots towards the US President. In the East, this is the highest manifestation of neglect and insult.

In fact, the policy of the West is now a copy of the policy of Ukraine. Biden, Johnson and others are Zelensky's twin brothers. For this clown and comedy actor, politics is a show, a momentary picture in the media, on TV and social networks. On Twitter, they are all the biggest winners....but only for one day. There is such an oriental expression - "caliph for one hour." Here they are - "kings for one hour." In reality, the world lives with completely different problems and achievements, but they do not understand this.

Well, for fun. I love the The Beatles.)))

Thank you.

Hello. Of course, there are many videos of the visit. Enough to google. In Russia, they showed it in great detail on TV.

In Russia, Biden is pitied. He is a very old man with dementia. He needs to live quietly on the seashore under palm trees, and they stuff him with pills, make him speak some speeches, mock the old man. He even greets ghosts. Let the old man live his life with dignity and peace.

Biden is America's Boris Yeltsin, a few powerful people decided let's put an imbecile in charge so they can control him. It happens from time to time. Yeltsin held on for 8 years...

Are you implying that America needs its own Putin to survive after Biden (Yeltsin)?
Absolutely agree with you.

No implication at all, just an observation.

What will be interesting is that it took Russia 8 years to rectify its obvious mistake, Biden doesn't even look to be the DNC's preferred candidate in 2024.

Glad you are still with us RT.

You seem to love rather a lot of western music and use it as a means to champion your cause and propaganda.

How come you don't use Russian music in the same way?

Please take it easy.

I, as an old music lover and lover of rock music, want to offer the composition of the legendary Russian rock band "Kino" and its leader Viktor Tsoi "Changes". This song was relevant in Russia at the turn of the 80-90s of the last century, I think that it can be popular in the USA now.

I give the translation of the words below.

Change!

Instead of warmth, green glass
Smoke instead of fire
A day is snatched from the calendar grid
The red sun is burning down
The day burns down with him
A shadow falls on the burning city

Our hearts require change
Our eyes require change
In our laughter and in our tears and in the throbbing of our veins
Change, we are waiting for change

Electric light continues our day
And the matchbox is empty
But in the kitchen, gas burns with a blue flower
Cigarettes in hands, tea on the table
This scheme is simple
And there is nothing else - everything is in us

Our hearts require change
Our eyes require change
In our laughter and in our tears and in the throbbing of our veins
Change, we are waiting for change

We cannot boast of the wisdom of the eyes
And with skillful gestures pyk
We don't need all this to understand one another
Cigarettes in hands, tea on the table
This is how the circle closes
And suddenly it becomes scary for us to change something

The video is reminiscent of some kind of Russian Status Quo imho.

All Biden did was insult every country he visited and then some πŸ˜€

Zero results on oil production (and why didn't Biden consider increasing American production?) πŸ˜€

Why didn't Biden ask The Saudis to sell some oil to China instead of using the American Reserve ? πŸ˜€

All fake BS and a total PR failure again roflmaoπŸ˜€

This concert of the Kino group was broadcast on the First Channel of Russian TV. Almost immediately after that, Viktor Tsoi died in a car accident in Latvia. They say the disaster was staged. Until now, fans believe that Choi is alive. In Moscow, on Arbat Street, there is a wall of Tsoi covered with graffiti and inscriptions in his honor.
Personally, I like his song "Quiet Night" more. The video of this song is edited with clips from the movie "The Needle" about the problems of drug addiction in Russia in those years, and how Russia managed to get out of this abyss. At the end of the film, he dies.
Unfortunately, the video can only be viewed on YouTube.

youtu.be...

Rooftops are shaking under the pressure of days
A shepherd in heaven herds the clouds
A city shoots its lights into the night
But strong is the night, great is her might

Those who got to bed, good night, good dreams
I've been waiting for this time and here it is
This time has come
Those who here silently started to talk
Those who've got nothing to wait, mount their horses
You won't catch up with them, no, not now

Those who got to bed, good night, good dreams
I've been waiting for this time and here it is
This time has come
Those who here silently started to talk
Those who've got nothing to wait, mount their horses
You won't catch up with them, no, not now

Neighbors come, they complain they hear hooves clicking
They can't fall asleep, it disturbs their dreams
Those who've got nothing to wait for take off
And those who were saved-they are safe

Those who got to bed, good night, good dreams
I've been waiting for this time and here it is
This time has come
Those who here silently started to talk
Those who've got nothing to wait, mount their horses
You won't catch up with them, no, not now

Sounds like a kind of "Grateful Dead" type vibe thingamabob, probably does not hurt where album sales are concerned nether if you know what i mean.

As to drug addiction, my understanding is Russia has a problem there just like any other nation, organised crime and supply and demand being what it is.

Take Krokodil(Desomorphine) consumption for instance, nasty stuff that, need to be crazy to walk that kind of path.

Do you think there is too little change in the West right now?

In my opinion, this Russian music is more suitable for them now.

As an old rocker, I prefer a different reading of Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.

Actually, in my childhood, I once performed as the opening act for the 1st Tchaikovsky Concerto performed by Yuri Serebryakov's orchestra at the Baku Philharmonic in the mid-70s.

As far as I know, Night on Bald Mountain has nothing to do with Pictures at an Exhibition and is a separate work.
