Yes he was clearly reading from the prompter.
Yes he was struggling to read the prompter.
Yes he was saying that things he was saying were being quoted.
Yes he is to old a man to be POTUS
Yes he slurs many of his words.
Yes he needs to stop himself a lot and repeat correctly what he has just said.
But did he read and say ''repeat the line''? Or did he say ''let me repeat the line''
I watched it numerous times and with his slurring and low breath issues it can easily be understood that that was nothing more than a lapse of breath
behind the two words ''let me ''
So, were the words ''let me repeat the line'' on the prompter or was it just written ''repeat the line''
Are his handlers so incompetent that they do not know how old he is and how far he is from understanding what he is supposed to say and
''instructions on what to say? Wasn't there a gaffe a week or so ago where he accidentally showed his instruction card to the cameras telling him
where to sit who to address and every thing to do?
So the question here is not som much his incompetence any longer but rather did his press team lie about it as a ''cover up'' No? Yes?
Let's look at the context of this ok? He reads the quote from the prompter once, right? Now, forget the part about him saying whatever it was he said
and listen to the next part of the quote. We can see him looking straight at the prompter to read it, almost as if he is struggling. He stumbles over
a few words, pauses a bit and says more clearly those words from the quote.
So my question here to everyone is this. Would his handlers who wrote the speech for the prompter simply write the quote once and then write repeat
the line??
To that I say no. That would entail him having to go back and try to find, ON THE PROMPTER, the beginning of the quote. It would be much simpler to
write ''let me repeat the line'' and then write the entire quote for him to read again. It would be much safer for an old man like Biden to NOT break
the flow of the speech, especially knowing his diminishing capacity, with ''instructions'' mixed in with the speech itself.
Would they, on the prompter give him the quote to quote and then, with and instructive repeat the line'' give him the entire quote again? Hardly. That
would have him reading the quote once and then saying the quote a second time with no segue between the first time and the second time. Better to
give him the quote to read once, then , give him the segue ''let me repeat the line'' and then give him the quote once more which he clearly was for
the second time reading from the prompter.
So is Biden a Flub-a-dub or did his staff try to erase records by saying he said 'let me repeat the line'' instead of what so many think they thought
they heard. I think his prompter said ''let me repeat the line'' and Biden, the Flub-a-dub rushed his wordings so that we could not clearly hear him
say '' let me''.
Edit. For those of you in the Peanut Gallery who are to young to know Flub-a-dub, it was a goofy marionette on the Howdy Doody show back in the
1950s
