Local restaurants are closing in my Chicago suburb. Increasing prices for inventory, labor, rent, combined with fewer customers, due to the increased overhead being passed along to customers...has caused 3 family-owned restaurants to close this year. Only the PIZZA places seem to be doing consistently well.
