The 3 body probem is one of my favorite Sci Fi series of all time.

I LOVE the dark forest theory.. thought there are a number of other
much more practical ones that explain our current situation.

And they just might be correct. Expect China to get a historic scoop on NASA; either being the first to put boots on Mars, the first to announce definitive proof of alien life, or possibly both.

And after 50 years of dawdling, NASA (and Congress) would only have themselves to blame. Should have kept the pedal to the metal after Apollo, versus investing the then-future into low-orbit trucking.

Have they released any actual data of what they captured? Any released “recordings”?

I think many of the population on Earth will say... I have met them in person...they were on Earth on a vacation they are friendly and not cruel at all.

They have returned to their own planets because Earth is too angry and won't have world peace.

They probably pulled the report after realising that all they were hearing was the reverb from their own malarkey.

The "wow" signal was brief and many years ago now.

Yes the report is deleted from their main site and weibo but it's been quoted in many other sites and news on TV including the Chinese government web site:
Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology
I think they realised it's too early to draw conclusions so they pulled the news. We should take it as a grain of salt.
