And they just might be correct. Expect China to get a historic scoop on NASA; either being the first to put boots on Mars, the first to announce definitive proof of alien life, or possibly both.
And after 50 years of dawdling, NASA (and Congress) would only have themselves to blame. Should have kept the pedal to the metal after Apollo, versus investing the then-future into low-orbit trucking.
