That’s the mind blowing thing about this whole ordeal.

One of his main reasons for invading Ukraine (apart from the crazy rant about drug addicts and nazis), was because NATO was a threat to Russia. But all this war has done is made NATO more united than ever and made them far more of a threat to Russia, than they ever would’ve been if Russia had of never invaded Ukraine in the first place.

Even from a totally logical stand point, if your not considering the millions of displaced and dead innocent civilians… nothing about what his done makes any sense, or even benefits Russia in any way.

If things would have went as planned, Ukraine would have fell quickly, the leadership assassinated and all wrapped up before any major response. Similar to Crimea.

I bet there are some advisors and or Generals who are no longer employed.

He is pulling everything out of the north and rerouting it to the east and south to secure those areas for annexation now that he knows he can not take the whole country. Rumors that Russia will ask for a ceasefire and just keep what they got now, but Ukraine isn't going to stop and may take back Crimea too.

Finland is de facto NATO country armed with NATO military hardware anyway. Whether Finland joins NATO officially is irrelevant for Russia.

While the Ukrainians did take back a few small villages, they still lost 2 out of 7 administrative centers in Kharkiv oblast namely Kupiansk and Izium. It is worse that what Syria lost when they lost 2 of 14 administrative centers namely Idlib and Raqqa.

It's a comparison of loss. Syria losing 2 of 14 administrative centers did better than Ukrainians losing 2 of 7 administrative centers in Kharkiv oblast. I suspect these 2 administrative centers namely Kupiansk and Izium are majority ethnic Russian cities in Kharkiv oblast which means Ukrainian will never take them back.

It is a meaningful comparison. There are parallels. Both Syria and Kharkov oblast lost 2 administrative centers to foreign backed rebels in an ethnic conflict.

I guess yall never heard of something called "sarcasm"? If the US armed Ukraine to fight the proxy against Russia, the US might as well keep arming Ukraine to take right over in Russia and China 😂🤣
