Not sure if the dust has settled enough to post..Sometimes my patience wears.

Maybe its my age, or perhaps 'enlightenment', but the world is lucky. Lucky the American government are so busy trying to control the people that the collective conscience, or lack thereof allows and contributes to plain view atrocities with no consequences unless it enables the agenda. I say lucky because the Americans that I know aren't cowards. They are strong, resourceful, independent people.

One American soldier is worth ten of any other soldier on the planet for one reason. Their mind. Seriously, Id take one US Army Chaplains Assistant over ten Spetznatz any day. Idealistic? Maybe.

Point. We have the mightiest people anywhere, at least that's what the propaganda would have us believe..In my experience the American Patriot lives up to the hype..Allways..

Its about that 'one' decision. That one time when one doesn't let the past dictate the present. That one time when one says " I may lose, but at least I didn't just stand there"

Hard question..Will you risk 'yours' to save 'theirs'? America as a nation and government has NEVER done this, But our people and defenders have ALLWAYS been willing to.(this trait is totally exploited on all fronts) Don't fool Yourself, we are still willing as a people, and we are tired of having the means to save lives and bring peace but being hindered from doing so. We have integrity, its simply oppressed.

Until one is in the situation one doesn't know what ones response will be. We hope its the positive response. Collateral damage is an unfortunate reality of war.

The US could use the same reasoning as this serial killer as We are 'surrounded' by threat. So, again We as a people get to turn on the TV and watch live rape and murder for a couple hours then hit the sack and sleep cozy. Perverted, right?

Solution? Standing up to a threat is never without risk...and its not like the movies where the bully is defeated and everyone lives happily ever after...actually its never that black and white...But in my experience its worth it..or at least its preferable to daily beatings.

My personal message to the bullies of the world..WE won't forget.

This isn't a fight that a black eye and a beer will settle. It's Vendetta, and a slow burn.

Concerning the prospect of World War III...Doubtful as the West has retreated, which I do not condemn, its a hostage situation. As usual WE are being held at gunpoint and forced to witness the horror, helpless to do anything...

Lets see what the future brings.

I'm willing to mobilize.

I won't ask anyone else to go though, but if someone wanted to send volunteers, I'd roll out.

The standpoint of NATO could be seen as mature, I just see it as cowardice.

No one is asking for nuclear conflict, but that doesn't mean we can't help.

I don't like the slippery slope of letting this happen, because it will lead to worse.

It's all propaganda.

It's not the boys It's their toys the better equipment you have the better your chances for survival in any armed conflict.

Americans have determination thats what sets us apart you put your mind to it and do it.

As far as Russia putting has said he wants to reunite the ussr.

That involves nato backed countries once he is done with Ukraine then we will see what happens.

An attack on one is an attack on all members of nato though the world sits back watching the horrors in Ukraine unfold.

Make no mistake if he goes further than Ukraine things will heat up rather quickly and the world may be plunged into darkness once again.

Though I hope it doesn't get that far.

Exactly right!

The US has invaded countries all over the globe for decades, usually under fraud, and the media applauds and approves those cases of military aggression.

Russia cleans up its own backyard and the complicit media acts like it's a crime against humanity.

While American military aggression bombs hell out of civilian structures killing many civilians, the Russians confine their attacks to military targets and the media does not even mention that.

Again America literally watched England get blitzed for 2 years before we got involved in WWII.

America is watching right now.

But we will see how long this lasts, Biden seems to think months for the sanctions to finally start to bite the Russians. That's not to reassuring at all

Maybe, because it's not true?

How long ago was that and how is that relevant today?

Yes, it was true, in its time, which is not now.

I applaud your Patriotism

But I think perhaps you are living in a Fantasy world mate Russians Love there country just as much as Americans Love theirs .

And Spetznatz are some of the hardest soldiers on Earth , Spetznatz are comparable to the American Special Forces except for one difference Spetznatz have zero morals that govern there trigger finger.

Perception. I see where You are coming from and I understand the tactic. This is why I mentioned not letting ones past dictate their present..Simply because one lied yesterday doesn't mean they aren't allowed to tell the truth today..There has to be grace to allow for improvement. No one is perfect.

I feel bad for the Ukraine, but not bad enough to put on a uniform and risk life and limb for them.
nor would I expect my fellows in the USA.

given time maybe they could form a volunteer international brigade, but already too late, I think.

a lot of people in the world decry US imperialism / 'World Police'
but when there's a problem it's 'Where are the Americans?'.

I don't see how any Country will trust the USA ever again . How many treaty's have we broken ? If I was Taiwan I'd be very scared at this point there will be no US rescue when China decides to leap .

The last time mainland America was invaded or came under military attack was 1812.

You have no idea how Americans would cope if they where ever invaded again. Lets hope it's never put to the test.

It appears to be true at this point that Russian targets were all military.

Comparing the US invasion of Iraq to the Russian invasion of Ukraine shows the US bombed all sorts of civilian targets including hospitals.

So far the Russian attacks have been against military targets, with civilians and their buildings untouched.

I won't argue concerning past US military activities, and invasions..The way our government works the corruption is everywhere.

Actually the media has emphasized the targeting priorities of the Russians. Though I feel its a show by the Russian admin.

So You wouldn't have a problem with the US cleaning up its backyard? Me either.

I honestly believe that the lack of trust from other countries is not America's biggest problem.

It is the lack of trust and respect that it has created in its own citizens that is their biggest problem.

After what we've seen since yesterday, I have absolutely no doubt we'll leave Taiwan in the lurch. Just like Europe is too dependent on Russia to stand up to them, we're way too dependent on China to do anything if they decide to invade Taiwan.

While we're at it, I wonder what North Korea is thinking at the moment.
