Americans, if you live overseas, dont lie about your Totalization SSA-308 form

Just a reminder for us Americans living over seas. The IRS is backlogged but as much as 3 years and 4 months. You may be audited with the Social Security Administration regarding your submission of form SSA-308. Your Embassy of the country you are residing in may contact you with such matters regarding this. Be aware that the IRS now is like China, they know about every financial move you make overseas over 10 grand.
Not to scare you all, but you might if return to the USA be put on a NO FLY LIST.
Be careful people. America is like China and North Korea these days and I"M NOT JOKING HERE EITHER.

That has been a thing for a while bud.
And it does not only apply to those living abroad.
I think you have been away too long to remember how that works here....

It's true I've nearly spent have my life overseas.
And last I visited I was put through the ringer at Chicago O'hare airport. I actually thought I was in North Korea, eye scan and voice recognition in the interview.

That 10g has been around since I was ever able to fill out that form.
I can't remember what it's called but I do know it is a thing.
Not sure if that is a world wide thing but for those that bank here have to deal with that crap.
I pay someone to do all that.

No I don't live overseas. And the next I will not answer.
But having a account with any money they will look at.
Overseas or not any transactions 10 or over will be looked and blocked untill you fill our forms or meet or have already met certain requirements.

I think it's called 'laundering', but I can't afford to pay any of the guys that do that stuff, so, if I tried to do it myself, I'd get caught for sure.

My judo and karate should come handy, but financial wise, my body parts need to be made of gold and not yen .
