Been looking around for some cool KMZ files for google earth pro, something that highlight all the strange places around the earth.
UFO crashes, underground bases, alien abduction and paranormal events.

But all I have found is some pretty boring ones, anyone know any place to find them or have anyone made some ?

I been thinking of making a big KMZ containing all the mystery sites of the world.. but it gonna take some time, perhaps years.

Creating a KMZ in Google Earth Pro

Oh and each "node" on the map there would be a story about what happened there and some links to documentaries, whistleblowers and backstories.
So in the end it would a world wide gallery of all the strangeness one could ever want.

I’ve never heard of one a database of them all.
But KMZ and KMLs are really easy to make in GE

yearh, looks pretty easy.
It would be cool if there was a way to make a "group kmz" where select members could add nodes.

Just think how cool it would be if all of ATS posts was linked to a kmz.

A interactive ATS globe where one could go exploring.

I make KMZ and KMLs all the time for work.
I’ll see tomorrow if it’s possible to create an open group file.

For sure you can create a group of “Places” but you need to be logged in and it’s assigned to a single user.
I’m not sure about how the sharing of it would work.

What about a DXF viewer?
I can compile a bunch of KML/Zs, in CAD and save it as a DXF or DWG and people could open it up with a free viewer.
That might be the best bet. Be a then people could open it online or save locally.
