2022 Canadian Truckers Convoy for freedom

Truckers all across Canada begin the slow roll convoy to Ottawa in support of freedom and against vaccine mandates. You will be hard-pressed to find mainstream coverage of this, but there are several Facebook groups and Druthers news and information has been outstanding covering protests and this event. Below is a link outlining a bit of what is going on.

I’m happy that Canadians are finally waking up and hopefully this is the first big step to regaining our freedom. Rumour has it US truckers are set to join in. I feel like this may be a game changer.

I hope the thousands of truckers remain idle until vaccine mandates all across the country are abolished once and forever. Please support the truckers in this battle for freedom.

It heard a quick mumble on the Edmonton local news. The first time I heard it they mentioned the time they will reach us. 5:30pm today. Subsequent reports left out the day, time, and route.

They have to report it locally because what’s coming this afternoon would be hard to ignore.

Yellow Head Trail 5:30 heading east from BC. I’m going to check it out. If it’s big now it will be huge by the time it gets to Justin’s house.

We don’t have a supply chain issue we have a Justin Trudeau issue. Let’s see what happens.

For some reason I don’t trust the time mentioned on the news. I’m heading out west of town now to see what’s coming.

I’ll take some pics but will probably have to wait until I get home to upload. Never had any luck doing that from my phone.

I'm just east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, right across from St. Joseph Island.

Ill have a few days before they get here.

Eta: yea I won't trust the msm on the time either, they'll have updates on Tweaker too.

Also impressive is the amount of money that has been raised in the gofundme page in 7 days. Right now it is at $2,674,470 !

Freedom Convoy

Earlier there was chatter that Gerald Butts and the Liberal gang were trying to shut the fund raiser down as Truck drivers are misogynist, racist terrorists.

I headed out of the city about half an hr. I had a good spot in mind and it looks like others had the same idea.

Around half the cars on the highway honking as they go under the bridge.

There are about a hundred people at this overpass and I have passed at least twice that pulled over on service roads on the way out.

Also maybe 20 trucks staged and waiting to join.

Making some new friends and waiting for the trucks.

ETA It’s way more than half of the vehicles honking and every long haul truck going both directions have given us a blast of their horns. These aren’t part time of the convoy.

Our government will be attempting to trace every one of those donations and then politely harassing (Chinada style) those who gave.

I hope they put that money to good use fighting against tyranny.

While I'm more for the focused/laser approach to solving problems of this nature, I too wish the Canadian Truckers success in achieving their goal(s)!

Though vaccinated, one Sault-based trucker who asked not to be identified said “I totally support them for sure. I’m against it being mandated. You’ve got people with different religions in our industry (who oppose mandated COVID-19 vaccination). People shouldn't be forced to do it.”

“I understand where they’re coming from not wanting to get vaccinated, not wanting to mandate the vaccine, especially for truckers. Truckers are living out of their trucks most of the time. They’re not really a severe health risk,” said Wasaga Beach-based independent trucker Cale Callan (though he said he personally has been vaccinated).

Most of the Truckers that I've seen interviewed are vaccinated, yet, still opposing it.

It's about FREEDOM.
