I hope this gains momentum but the media will most likely ignore it.

Either way, kudos for them for not backing down and choosing to resist the pathetic allure of Clown World™.

There are still some people in the limelight who choose not to give in to the madness.

Sooner or later a tipping point will be reached.

I just hope that that moment will not be manipulated.

Why is he incarcerated in Australia? I thought they gave him a medical exemption or something?

Last I heard, they gave him one, but the customs folks did not acknowledge it and locked him down.

They pulled a fast one. He was refused entry on arrival.

Likely massive blowback from the citizens who are being beaten in the streets if they dare defy the COVID mandates.

It was very easy for them to take a whack at him since he isn't a politician or elite flaunting their ability to ignore the rules. Hopefully the courts will do something, but I've given up all but the tiniest sliver of hope that will ever happen.

SCOTUS is hearing a case on Biden's mandate today. That ruling may pull the plug on my tiny sliver of hope.

Yeah I don’t know how close y’all have been watching Australia, but something evil is going on.

All my life I heard about these guys talk about how they wish they could go back in time and kill Hitler.
I call BS on every single one of them.

Thanks for clarifying it. From what I'm reading it sounds like they pulled the ol' switcheroo on him.

It's nice to know some people still have hope. Me? We're all just pawns in this game. Resist and laugh in their faces until the very end is my plan.

A dad joke about Novak in a thread about Novak’s dad. I got dizzy for a second.

Novak should publicly announce that until Australia stops abusing it's citizens he will not play in that country.

Tennis Australia gave him the exemption, they do not have the authority to allow unvaccinated people into the country.
That decision is down to the government.

But on Wednesday afternoon, the home affairs minister, Karen Andrews, indicated the federal government might also have a say in the matter. Andrews said in a statement it was for Tennis Australia and the Victorian government to decide whether a non-vaccinated player could take part in the Australian Open but “it is the commonwealth government that will enforce our requirements at the Australian border”

He should have gone through the correct channels.

Being a foreigner, is it possible that he thought he was going through the correct channels? Or possible that someone lied to him?

Or, here's one, I, who have no interest in tennis whatsoever, heard he was was given a medical exemption a couple days ago. If it was unofficial, not through the correct channels, why didn't anyone from those official, correct channels come forward?

Also, which guidelines did Tennis Australia consult to grant him the exemption?

Did they pull a wombat from their ass?

On whose authority?

Maybe Tennis Australia don't like their Government.
Also, Novak caught C19 early on. Bet his Dr's could prove he still had T&B cell immunity and that was good enough for Tennis Australia.
There's more to the Game, Set and Match here, his father implies as much.

That is one of the things they employ agents to do.

This is the Australian Open vaccine guidance. Nothing about natural immunity.

I think it all boils down to Aus$'s.

They made an exemption just for him because the No1 tennis player in the world not playing threatens their bottom line.

I think some politicians worried about optics intervened as they are quite rabid Down Under. A dingo bit their politicians.
