My daughter had suffered 4 strokes and was brain dead BUT...
she did test positive for covid while in a coma.
My mom was from dementia.
My husband I had taken to the hospital on December 5th.He
was diagnosed with cancer on Monday and passed away on
Saturday.
The three most vulnerable people close to me are gone now.
There isn't anyone that TPTB can hold over my head. The rest
can take care of themselves.

I understand that sentiment... don't forget to take care of yourself physically, try and rest and eat well. Hope you find your solace and peace soon, you got friends here on ATS.

My deepest condolences mamabeth. I pray God gives you the strength to endure such losses. As a widower myself I know losing your spouse is a very emotional event and will always weigh in your mind but cherish all the good times and love you two shared as it will help carry you through.
God bless.

Mama...I have no words that will help you get through this terrible time.
Having lost a spouse to cancer myself, I can only tell you that you will come through this.

Such tragic news. It is devastating to lose one loved one, never mind 3. I can't imagine such heartbreak and loss.

Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Much love, _Night.

Good luck with the mountainous work ahead, get plenty of rest and the non coddling also strong friends to help so you stay strong in those tasks if you need them.

Something similar happened to what others referred to as a hoarder in an old neighborhood.

I didn't see it as hoarding; I saw that they just respected their family enough, to not disturb their peace and also brought things that they liked back home; As if they were still living. As a kind of; life goes on even if it does not appear so to others not in the same or similar situation.

Ah, mama, that's ... there are no words for that. I'm so sorry to hear it nevertheless. There are just those times when anything you can say seems inadequate to the amount of pain the person you talk to must be feeling. I'd rather I could just be there in person if you needed a shoulder.

I can not get you out of my head. I know that I do not have to tell you, you will see your family again. Even though their bodies have shut down, they are still alive, with Christ.

God hears the prayers of his children. I will fast and ask God to heal you of your pain, that he give you a sign that you daughter, Mom and beloved husband are with Christ, waiting for you with Christ.

You are my sister, you always have been. One day we will meet but for now, keep your strength and faith for you are a great role model for us, here at ATS.

YOU ARE STILL NEEDED.

Mother left me a note I found after her passing. It read:
"Please don't think I'm gone ...just "away" for awhile. For we will meet again!"

So sorry, God bless and give you strength.

That which doesn't kill us in life...only makes us stronger.
🙏

Aw Mama, you've been through so much terrible already. So sorry to hear this.

My grandma always said "There but for the grace of god, go I" and my understanding was that neither living nor moving on to the creator was bad. Our time opens up and closes with purposes we may not know or understand at the time. The separation hurts but we are never truly separate as all is illusion that comes from not knowing the big picture.

Much love.
