A day after a study coming out of South Africa saying Pfizer has 40 fold reduction in neutralization against omicron compared to the original 2019 strain, Pfizer comes out with the statement this morning a third dose of the old Pfizer vaccine neutralizes omicron because it increases antibody level by 25 fold compared to 2 doses of it. Considering omicron is very mild to begin with and causes very few hospitalization and hardly any death if at all, Pfizer can bank on this fact to say "Hey look, our vaccine works, come get your boosters".

Right, Omicron is a very mild mutation apparently. The temporal correlation with vaccination and boosters is just that, a correlation and false connection.

the shot is totally great for this variant. The one's who are getting it, being vaxxed, didn't have that PMA that goes along with the shot. Positive Mental Attitude. Why do they need to hide it people will defend them at this point they could come out and say it's a 1/6 chance of death and the psycopaths we call propaganda victims would cheer them on

Such a revolutionary medical company would surely be of better use being nationalised, placed in an international trust and run as a non-profit for the benefit of all.

since the vaccines effectiveness begins fading almost immediately, you need to get all three injections within 2 weeks of each other in order to get that Omicron bulletproof effect Pfizer is talking about.

Interestingly yesterday's news was that the boosters will not help with the new variant, but now that pfizer is scrapping their next jab they are back to support their useless established jabs.

The boosters are not as popular, and profits are not coming in.

Almost like you're disappointed when strides are made to deal with this pandemic.

Actually, the moron variant from Africa is the cure to the covid virus, because its mild to the infected it will still provide the development of natural immunity to covid.

This variant will end covid and thankfully the experimental jabs, but hell pharma does not want that to happen.

I find it strange that every case of omicron in the US that I read about was on a vaxxed and boosted person. I'm sure that some will argue that the vaccines made it mild but why are they they the only ones catching it? Is it also mild for the unvaccinated and blows up the justification for boosters?

Tell me again how well it's doing in Ontario? It's not that it is only partially effective, we were sold it was gonna be completely effective there would be no need for masks or lockdowns. Now we got boosters possibly needed, In many areas vaccines cases exploded another unintended or mentioned side effect. When we thought it would end cases, it did not and we are even seeing deaths start to inch up in certain areas. It's nothing but sliding and shifting narrative, where is it gonna be next week?

But if you are happy with another lockdown looming, boosters and restrictions have at it tiger.

How does 60% vaccinated state of Georgia have fewer cases per million to almost 80% vaccinated Ontario?

There are so many variables at work here, Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick are showing skyrocketing cases, why is that happening with so many compliant on getting vaccinated?
